Halloween Recap

What a showing! The crowdsfilled all the way down Bour-bon Street and made park-

ing a mad house yet now that the smokehas cleared all the clubs, hotels, andvenues have reported Halloween 2009 aSUCCESS!! Now let’s recap on this amaz-ing holiday!

Legendary DJ Tony Moran spun onFriday at Oz to an amazing crowd thatdidn’t let up till 5am! Although he showedup 2 hours late to the party we still enjoyedhearing him spin till the weee hours of themorning! Crazy time had by all but a greatSTART of the holiday!

Halloween Circuit Party at Mardi GrasWorld packed in over 5,000 people to theevent which included a stage show withdancers performing Michael Jackson’sThriller and with a touch of pyrotechnicsthey made Halloween night a great start atmidnight! At 12:30, Grey Cross presentedhis UV Glowing human statue with 14male nude models painted in BRIGHT UVpaint! Grey has posted all the pictures onhis Facebook page so add him and seethe hot glowing men that were on thebalcony above!

Sunday the crowds still flowed intothe Quarter for dancing and festivities allday and night. I gave up at about 3:30ambut from what I was told no one reallycleared out till about 6am! REMARKABLE!Thanks to DJ Joe Gauthreaux for keepingthe crowd pumping at Oz! Its always goodto have him home!

Corner Pocket Begins NewSunday Show

The Corner Pocket just finishedwith their Calendar Boy con-test and will begin their NEW

SHOW this Sunday! Again the always glit-tering Barry Bareass will MC the rounds ofhot boys in the Bareass Strip Tease! Barrypromises that this will be a great showfilled with what else but hot boys getting asnaked as legally possible! Showtime is10pm and more details can be found atcornerpocket.net. While you are therecheck out the hot pictures of the Wet JockeyShorts Contest from Halloween.

Oz presents HorrorTurn-A-Bout

Lord what a scary night this was!If you ever thought you wouldsee scary drag this was the

night to see it! Bartenders, DJs, security, and even GM Tommy Elias entertained thepacked night club for the annual show andbrought down the house!

The show began with Blanche De-bris and Nathan Brooks (that’s me!) per-forming Suddenly Seymore and fromthere the staff took their spots performingdressed as everything from a hip hoppinggranny to little red riding hood! GM TommyElias ended the night with a group presen-tation of Rocky Horror and presented him-self as the Sweet TransvestiteFrankenfurter. There are people still not

able to sleep with the idea of seeing Tommydressed in little less then a corset andfishnets. All videos of the event will beposted to YOUTUBE.com the first week ofDecember so be on a look out for all the funhad at the event.

Tubby's Golden Lantern'sCostume Contest

Tubby’s Golden Lantern heldit’s Halloween Costume Con-test on Halloween night, to a

packed house of ghouls and goblins, andmany other spooky notables. BartendersStephen, Lance and Wilhelmina, did anoutstanding job of keeping the crowd lu-bricated with alcoholic potions. And not tobe outdone was Rick, the owner, lookinglovely in his gypsy, pirate wench outfit, withhis lover, Rick, being an ultra glamorousMother Superior (whom I hope will takeSister Mary Isawhore to task for growing abeard).

The contest was headed by TheMummy - Rikki Redd, and Count Dracula- Winston Gray and emcee’d by The Un-dertaker - Gary Glitter. They had theirhands full, as an extremely large amountof contestants had to be narrowed down, according to audience participationscreaming for the one they wanted to win.

With the likes of Zombie Cheerlead-ers, gay Spiderman, Zombie Bowlers fromHell, the Stick People, Red Riding from theHood, and Cereal Killer, it was very toughto decide who would be the winners. But,it all boiled down to: Bud Mummy - $25 bartab, Pumpkin Heads - $50 cash, andDouble Header - $100 cash. Very excel-lent costumes by all!
