the day of our founder, Frederick Belmont, a Swiss confectioner came to England in 1919.

You can choose your perfect cake base

from the choice below. Our Cakes

are covered with a layer of finest quality

marzipan and are then iced with soft

sugar paste, traditional royal icing

or fondant on our individual

fondant fancies.

OUR RECIPES

Plain Genoese Sponge

For those who prefer a lighter cake

this is perfect, with a light buttery

texture. Made using only the finest

ingredients such as butter, wheat

flour and free-range eggs. Layered

with raspberry preserve and vanilla

buttercream.

Chocolate Genoese Sponge

For chocolate lovers this delicious

sponge is a twist on the classic. Made

using only the finest ingredients such

as butter, wheat flour and free-range

eggs. Layered with apricot preserve

and Swiss chocolate buttercream.

Bettys Celebration Fruit Cake

Based on a two time honoured recipe

with muscovado sugar, ground almonds,

the finest vine fruits and naturally

coloured cherries all steeped in sherry.

The cakes are then matured for three

months and brushed with sherry,

allowing the delicious flavours and

moist texture to develop.
