Art on the Avenue Saturday, October 6 from 10am-6pm at Del Ray Artisans galleryDRAwillputatentupinfrontofthegalleryforpromotionsandsales.Onthedayoftheevent,DRAvolunteerswillhelpsetuportakedownthetentandtakeshiftsattheDRAtable.About12volunteerswillbeneeded,includingpeopletohelpwithplanningduringthedaysleadinguptotheevent.

Del Ray Artisans is also selling merchandise—upcycled tote bags and zippered pouches made from recycled art exhibit banners, 25th Anniversary T-shirts, cookbooks, pre-orders for 2019 calendars, and more. 100% of the proceeds support Del Ray Artisans nonprofit arts organization.
Inside the gallery, you'll find the Symmetry fine art photography exhibition featuring work by local artists. This exhibit runs October 5-28, 2018. The gallery is open until 9pm on Saturdays.

Along Mount Vernon Avenue in Del Ray
on Saturday, October 6 from 10am-6pm, you'll find: Art on the Avenue, a
multicultural arts festival celebrating our community's diversity through the arts in
Alexandria, Virginia. There will be entertainment for all ages, art activities, food and over 300 artists displaying and selling their work all along Mount Vernon Avenue. Art on the Avenue is sponsored
by the Del Ray Business Association.
