With this pledge and recent investment in a comprehensive breast health strategy, Manitoba has taken the first steps toward creating a nationally recognized cancer plan, a plan recommended by the Canadian Cancer Society that focuses on enhanced screening, an improved cancer experience for patients and a reduction in the number of deaths caused by cancer.
