PRI/Analog/Digital Extension recording needs HW and SW from Poltys
SIP and IP-PT recording requires only additional SW but no additional hardware
Recording HW and SW must be installed on the same host as the CC Server SW
NOTE: If not preinstalled on Poltys appliance, recording SW installation and configuration is done by Poltys Support staff only and can be done remotely via TeamViewer/ Logmein/ WEBEX (TeamViewer preferred)

Overview
Configure Extensions to be Recorded – CCView
Run CCView Supervisor application
Login with your credentials
Go to Configuration | Agents Data section
In the “HW Board” Colum, for each recorded extension enter
• For Analog/Digital Extension cards – enter the Board Number (this number is associated with a
Physical PCI/PCIe recording card and is provided by Poltys staff (if only card, this number is 1)
• For SIP enter the string “sip” (smallcaps)
• For IP-PT enter the string “ip-pt” (smallcaps)
In the “HW Channel” Colum for each recorded extension enter
• For Analog/Digital Extension cards – enter the port number (the port number from the patch
panel that is supplied with the recording card
• For SIP leave this field empty
• For IP-PT enter the MAC address of the IP-PT phone
Click on Apply button for changes to take effect

(4) For each Extension,
enter the Channel
number

Trunks to be Recorded – Bulk Configuration
Configuring the recorded trunks for the first time – for each board
installed do the following
BOARD TYPE - DPT for PRI trunks and non DPT for Analog trunks
TRUNKS FROM
• The first trunk number in the sequence to be configured
• The association of the physical PBX trunk and the recording board port is
provided by Poltys support staff
TRUNKS TO
• The last trunk in the sequence to be configured
CHANNEL FROM - the first channel in the sequence to be configured
(0 is the first channel)
• For PRI channel association with the PBX is automatic
• For Analog, the association depends on how the PBX channels are plugged
into the patch panel supplied with the card
CHANNEL TO – the last channel in the sequence to be configured
Click on Add button to populate the list

Trunks to be Recorded – Chanel by Chanel Configuration
Configuring the recorded trunks for the first time – for each Trunk
installed do the following
BOARD TYPE - DPT for PRI trunks and non DPT for Analog trunks
TRUNK NO
• The Trunk No to be configured
• The association of the physical PBX trunk and the recording board PRI port
is provided by Poltys support staff
BOARD CHANNEL NO - the channel no in the board to be configured
• For PRI channel association with the PBX is automatic
• For Analog, the association depends on how the PBX channels are plugged
into the patch panel supplied with the card
Click on Add button to populate the list
Each entry is appended as the last line in the Trunk List
Entries do not need to be in any specific order

Change/Delete Trunks to be Recorded
For each Trunk in the list you want changed or deleted
do the following:
Select the line in the list you want to change or delete
(line background will turn grey once selected)
TO DELETE
• Click on Delete button
TO CHANGE
• Change the Board Type, Trunk No and Board Channel as
described in the previous slide
• Click on Save button

Configure Trunk Filtering Rules
You can filter by DID, Caller ID/Dialed
Number or Extension Number
CONTROL WHAT GETS RECORDED
• If the Include/Exclude checkbox is
checked, ONLY the items in the list are
recorded
• If the Include/Exclude checkbox is NOT
checked, everything except the items in
the list are recorded

IMPORT DID, CALLER ID/DIALED NUMBER OR EXTENSION NUMBER LIST
• Prepare a text file with a simple list

• Push the import button
• Browse and select the file
• The list will be populated with content of
the file
DELETE ITEM FROM LIST
• Select the line in the list you want o delete
• Click on Delete

Working with the Filtering Lists
ADD ITEM TO LIST
• Fill in the desired DID, Caller ID/Dialed Number or
Extension Number in the appropriate list
• Click on Add button
• Entry will be added at the end of the list
• Entries do not need to be in any specific order
CHANGE ITEM IN LIST
• Select the desired line to be changed
• Change in the desired DID, Caller ID/Dialed Number
or Extension Number in the appropriate list
• Click on Save button
