Aims and Objective

The course objectives are to introduce students to the fundamentals of the Japanese language and to helpstudents to develop the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Intended Learning Outcomes of the Course

On completion of the course, students should be able to

ILO1. read and write simple sentences in Japanese;ILO2. read, write and listen to Japanese at a level equivalent to Level N5 of the Japanese Language

Proficiency Test;ILO3. engage in simple conversation in Japanese
