Inspired by the skill and success of the 2004 National Women’s Hockey Team – coupled with the fact that

Alumnae was founded and run by women – I came up with an engaging tag based in word play that

was a little bit kick-ass too. Tag image designed by Suzanne Courtney.

YouTube concept:

Sunlit boat deck of a lakeside cottage on a summer

afternoon. [quiet, gentle ambient sounds only: birds, water

lapping against the deck, etc.]

Grandfather and toddler granddaughter sit on the deck,

having a picnic.

He pours some Canada Dry from a can into a sippy cup.

He hands her the sippy cup, then takes a sip from the can as

she looks on.

GRANDFATHER: Ahhh.

Granddaughter takes a sip.

GRANDDAUGHTER: Ahhh.

They both smile, looking out over the lake and relaxing as

they drink their Canada Dry.

*Canada Dry Ginger Ale: Could be done as a montage or

create individual spots: Show Grandfather and

Granddaughter over time (milestones): intimate moments

during his retirement party, her college graduation, her

wedding reception – to the two of them back on the deck
