Holy Hour for LIFE Please join us today, Jan. 21, for the next Holy Hour for Life, in our Adoration Chapel from 1-2pm. The prayer intentions are to pray for rebuilding a culture favorable to life & marriage & for increased protection of religious liberty. AED (automated external defibrillator) This life–saving piece of equipment is located in the hallway between the Adoration Chapel & the Parish Office. There is access to the AED through the Adoration Chapel 24 hours a day. The AED should only be used by trained individuals; however, it is important that everyone be aware of it’s location.

Our Lady of Lourdes Security We currently have a committee of dedicated parishioners & staff wo are hard at work ensuring our safety during Masses. Our new procedures include locking most of the doors 10 minutes after Mass begins with the exception of the 4 doors downstairs, they will remain open. There is no method to ensure 100% safety at all times, but our team is dedicated to researching & executing the best ways to keep us safe, while continuing to be a welcoming place of worship.

Mother-Daughter Tea Feb. 17 from 8:30am -12:00pm at St. Michael Church. This “girl only” event is designed to address the topic of adoles-cence for grades 5th -7th. Includes presentations from the Family Life & Evangelization Office, a local Pediatrician, & a college student from UNCW who will lead discussions around the physical, social, & emotional changes that girls experience during the pre-teen years, particularly with the view of God’s plan for us.
