La storia di VINER è una storia che parte da lontano. È la storia di una famiglia di una ditt a e di una grande interminabile passione che di generazione in generazione conti nua a costruire biciclett e. Nato in una modesta famiglia di mezzadri nelle campagne pistoiesi, Viviano Nerozzi trascorse la sua infanzia nei campi, all’aria aperta, immergendosi completamente in quella natura che amò per l’intero arco della sua vita. Passati gli anni bui della guerra il giovane Viviano, dimostrando da subito grande inventi va e intraprendenza, decise di aprire un negozio di biciclett e e motorini nei pressi del centro di Pistoia. La passione per le biciclett e prese ben presto il sopravvento e nel 1947 Viviano decise di fondare la VINER, che prende le iniziali del suo nome e cognome, e di produrre lui stesso biciclett e da corsa, puntando sin da subito sull’alta qualità dei materiali. Le tecnologie si evolvono velocemente e nell’azienda si susseguono le figlie, i generi e i nipoti di Viviano che ancora oggi portano avanti quel bagaglio prezioso di professionalità e di grande entusiasmo che da sempre lo hanno contraddistinto. Passione, ricerca tecnologica, attenzione ai particolari, lavorazione artigianale. Sono questi gli ingredienti che permettono a Viner di produrre biciclette Made in Italy di altissima qualità.

The VINER history goes back for generati ons. It tells the story of a family and a business with a long on-going passion for building bicycles. Born in a family of modest sharecroppers in the countryside near Pistoia, Viviano Nerozzi spent his childhood outdoors in the fi elds, with a love for nature which he maintained throughout his life. Once the dark years of the war were over, showing signs of great creati vity

and good business sense from an early age, Viviano decided to open a bicycle and moped shop near the Pistoia town centre. But his passion for bicycles soon took over and in 1947, Viviano decided to set up his own company, VINER. The name was composed of the fi rst lett ers of his Christi an and surnames, and Viviano began to build his own racing bikes, focussing on top quality materials from the very beginning. Technology evolved rapidly and one generati on joined the company aft er another, with Viviano’s daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren, who carry on the traditi on of professional experti se and strong enthusiasm that has always been the byword of Viner producti on. The tests on the frames, according to the EN 14781 standard for racing bicycles safety requirements, have been carried out by the “A. Viner da sempre att enta al mondo femminile, dedica alla donna, non un solo modello, ma un’intera collezione sviluppata e pensata appositamente per lei. La morfologia della donna é diversa da quella dell’uomo, in quanto le proporzioni tra i vari segmenti scheletrici diff eriscono molto da quelli maschili. Mediamente più piccola in altezza, ha piedi, braccia e gambe più corte con rapporti anatomici tronco-braccia-gambe notevolmente maggiori rispett o all’uomo. Diversa, inoltre, è la strutt ura del bacino. Questo incide sulla dimensione del telaio ( inclinazione tubo sella, altezza tubo di sterzo, taglia del telaio), sui vari componenti uti lizzati nel montaggio della biciclett a ( piega manubrio, forma sella, pedivelle ) e sui parametri di posizione sul mezzo meccanico. Una geometria inadeguata porta inevitabilmente anche ad una catti va guidabilità con conseguenze negati ve sia sulla resa atleti ca che sulla sicurezza di guida. Per questo moti vo Viner ha studiato un’apposita geometria donna in grado di adatt arsi perfett amente alle caratt eristi che del corpo femminile.

Always interested in the female world, Viner dedicates to women not only one model, but an enti re collecti on developed and studied just for them. The morphology of a woman is diff erent from the one of a man, because the proporti ons between the various skeleton segments are diff erent. Averagely smaller in height, they have shorter feet, arms, and legs with anatomical torso-arms-legs rati o considerably higher compared to men. Moreover, the structure of the pelvis is diff erent. This infl uences the size of the frame (seat tube inclinati on, height of the head tube, cut of the frame), the various components used for bicycle assembling (handlebar, seat shape, pedal cranks), and the positi on parameters on the bike.An inadequate geometry inevitably causes bad handling with negati ve consequences on the athleti c performance and handling safety. This is why Viner studied an appropriate geometry for women, which can perfectly adapt to the characteristi cs of the female body.

COSTRUZIONE/MANUFACTUREI molti elegi e le numerose vittorie raccolte in questi anni hanno fatto di MAXIMA un gioiello dell’artigianalità e dell’ingegno italiano. Ma per Viner il massimo non è mai sufficiente. Nasce così MAXIMA RS2 un telaio innovativo pronto a scrivere la sua storia sull’asfalto.

The numerous expressions of appreciation and victories obtained in these years have made MAXIMA a jewel of Italian craftsmanship and genius, but for Viner even the maximum is never enough. Thus was created MAXIMA RS2 an innovative frame ready to write its history on the road.

TUBAZIONE La personalizzazione del telaio inizia con un innovativo processo di costruzione della singola tubazione realizzata interamente in Italia. Grazie ad un diverso intreccio delle fibre di carbonio è possibile creare una tubazione ad alta densità e a bassissimo contenuto di vuoti in grado di rispondere alle caratteristiche fisiche e tecniche dell’atleta. Si ottengono così dei tubi personalizzati in una fibra di carbonio unica nel suo genere.

The personalisation of the frame starts with an innovative construction process of the singular tube realised entirely in Italy. Thanks to the different weaving of the carbon fibres it is possible to create a tube with high density and extremely low void content able to respond to the athlete’s characteristics and techniques. This way customised tubes in a unique carbon fibre are obtained.

TELAIOLa costruzione del telaio è realizzata in Italia utilizzando una delle poche dime al mondo computerizzate, con sistema elettronico per l’assemblaggio delle tubazioni sulla base delle specifiche dell’atleta, al fine di garantire un’altissima precisione costruttiva. Segue la fasciatura manuale dei punti di intersezione dei tubi utilizzando diversi strati di fogli di carbonio disposti in modo tale da garantire la massima tenuta del telaio. La compressione del telaio avviene in autoclave di vulcanizzazione ad alta pressione al fine di trattare il carbonio con curve pressione-temperatura all’avanguardia. In questo modo le superfici interne ed esterne del telaio risultano minuziosamente controllate e rinforzate. Si ottiene così un telaio personalizzato nei minimi dettagli in grado di adattarsi alle specifiche esigenze biomeccaniche del velocista, del rouler o dello scalatore.

The construction of the frame is realised in Italy using one of the few computerised templates in the world with electronic system for the assembling of the tubes according to the athlete’s specifications, in order to ensure high construction precision. TRIANGOLO ANTERIOREIl triangolo anteriore è stato completamente rinnovato. La geometria “quadrata” conica a spessore variabile del tubo obliquo e di quello orizzontale permettono di incrementare la rigidità e la stabilità del mezzo mantenendo elevate caratteristiche di comfort.

The front triangle has been completely renovated. The variable thickness conical “square” geometry of the oblique tube and the horizontal one allow increasing the stiffness and stability of the bike maintaining high comfort characteristics.

TRIANGOLO POSTERIOREA sezioni differenziate, il triangolo posteriore si presenta completamente rivoluzionato. I foderi bassi dalla forma “scatolata” e i foderi alti di minore sezione garantiscono un aumento della rigidità senza nulla togliere al comfort di guida.

Made of differentiated sections, the rear triangle is completely changed. The lower “boxed” shape tubes and the higher minor section tubes guarantee an increase in rigidity without influencing the handling comfort.

The frame is arranged for inner cable routing, but on request it is possible to have the outer cable routing.The frame is specifically studied for the Shimano DI-2 electronic shifting systems.

carbon sheeting overlaid to guarantee maximum frame sealing. The compression of the frame occurs through high pressure vulcanising autoclaves in order to treat the carbon with ultra modern pressure-temperature curves. This way the internal and external surfaces of the frame are meticulously checked and strengthened. This is how a frame customised in minimum details is able to adapt itself to the specific biomechanical need of the road racer, rider or mountain biker.

A new conception bottom bracket entirely realised in cylindrical shape “boxed” carbon with internal filling in light alloy can be customised with bsa, press fit, and bb30 system. This innovative construction system allows decreasing the weight, increasing the rigidity, and guaranteeing maximum safety.

Gladium 2.0 permett erà a chiunque di provare la qualità di un telaio realizzato sulla base delle proprie caratt eristi che fi siche e biomeccaniche. Per noi di Viner la qualità non è una semplice parola, ma è qualcosa di tangibile in grado di fare la diff erenza.

From the multi year experience of Viner in the constructi on of made-to-measure frames, a new model in bound carbon enti rely realised in Italy was created. Gladium 2.0 will allow everyone to try the quality of a frame realised according to one’s own physical and biomechanical characteristi cs. Si otti ene così un telaio sicuro e durevole nel tempo.

For ALUMINUM lovers, VINER has created VR RACE 29’. This fully ITALIAN-made frame is constructed in DOUBLE BUTTED ALUMINIUM using the TIG welding process, and TREATED AGAINST CORROSION. The frame obtained is thus reliable and durable over ti me.
