Dear Teacher,Our aim is to produce materials that meet the

needs of both students and teachers in a wide

variety of classroom situations in order to help

institutions reach their academic goals. We firmly

believe that the exciting range of titles for pre-

school, primary and secondary schools shown

in our 2011 Catalog demonstrates how we are

meeting these objectives.

We are proud to announce the new Flashpoint

Exams, which are a new battery of exams from

the Peruvian English National Certificates. These

exams are mapped to the levels and standards of

the Common European Framework of Reference

which gives students throughout the country

the opportunity to validate their language level

anywhere in the world.

This year’s catalog introduces our CLIL program

Spotlight on English for primary. The objective of

teaching through content is to develop learners’

language skills as they acquire new knowledge,

which allows them to work at higher linguistic

as well as cognitive levels. This, in turn, helps

students grow as individuals and prepares them

to face the challenges of our ever-changing and

demanding world.

The 2011 catalog also features an expanded

selection of readers for all levels. We have added

the New Richmond Primary Readers and a new

list of titles from the Media Readers collection.

As teachers we share the same concerns: our

students. Understanding the specialized needs

of English language teachers in Peru -and the

needs of the students they teach- has helped us

provide products that are innovative, effective,

and motivating for students.

We wish you every success and enjoyment in

your teaching,

Sincerely,

Richmond
