PREPARATION OF SUBSTRATESBefore grouting joints, check that tiles have been laid correctly and are anchored perfectly to the substrate. Substrates must be perfectly dry. Grout joints in accordance with the recommended waiting time indicated on the relative data sheet for the adhesive used. For mortar substrates, wait at least 7 – 14 days depending on screed thickness, ambient weather conditions and on the level of absorption of the covering and the substrate. Any water or moisture rising can cause vapour pressure to accumulate, which may in turn loosen the tiles on account of the complete non-absorbency of the grout or of the tiles themselves. Joints must be free from any excess adhesive, even if already hardened. Furthermore they must be of an even depth for the whole width of the tile covering, thereby ensuring maximum chemical resistance. Any dust and loose debris must be removed from joints by carefully cleaning them with vacuum cleaner. The surface of the coating material to be grouted must be dry and free from dust or building dirt; any residual protective coatings must first be removed using specific products. Before grouting joints, check the cleanability of the tile covering, as porous or highly micro-porous surfaces may make cleaning difficult. It is advisable to perform a preliminary test on tiles not to be laid or in a small, concealed area.
SHELF LIFE3 kg monopack (part A 2 kg : part B 1 kg).It is recommended that the packs are stored at +20 °C for two days prior to use; higher temperatures increase the hardening speed, while lower temperatures make the mix hard to lay and slow down setting.
PREPARATIONMix 1 kg of component B with a spreader, pour it all into the bucket of component A, making sure that none of component B is left in the tin.Mix the two components using a low-speed helicoidal agitator until a smooth, even coloured mixture is obtained.Use a spreader to scrape the walls and bottom of the bucket of component A once component B has been poured into it, so that there are no areas of product that have not been properly mixed. Mixing by hand is not recommended. The mixture remains workable for approximately 45 min. (value calculated at +23 °C, R.H. 50%).
APPLICATIONFugalite® Bio must be applied evenly on the tile covering with a hard rubber spreader. Grout material has to be completely filled between entire joint areas, the application has to be done diagonally with respect to the joints. If grouting is to be on joints only, it is recommended that a test be carried out in advance before laying to ensure the surface can be properly cleaned. Remove most of the excess grout immediately using the spreader, leaving only a thin film on the tile.
CLEANINGPreparation
1 First cleaning with rubber spreader: once the joints have been filled, remove any excess grout that is left on the tiles immediately with the rubber spreader (working diagonally).
2 Addition of Fuga-Wash Eco to the cleaning water. Recommended dosage: 1 measuring cap for every 5 litres of water. Use the wash-boy ➀ to carry out the first cleaning pass with a cellulose sponge or abrasive felt pad, removing any excess grout from the flooring. Use wash-boy ➁ to carry out the second and final cleaning pass, finishing and smoothing the grout in the joint. Change the washing water frequently so that it is always clean. Replace the sponge or felt pad if they become impregnated with product.
First pass
3 Cleaning with cellulose sponge: clean when the grout is still fresh, using a cellulose sponge dampened with the water from tray ➀. Use circular movements to soften the film of grout on the tiles and finish the joints. Collect up the emulsion formed on the tiles using the sponge.
4 Cleaning with abrasive felt pad for structured surfaces: for more structured surfaces, clean when the grout is still fresh, using a felt pad dampened with the water from tray ➀. Use circular movements to soften the film of grout on the tiles and finish the joints. Collect up the emulsion formed on the tiles using the sponge.
Second pass
5 Finishing with a cellulose sponge: finish cleaning with a cellulose sponge dampened with water from tray ➁, working diagonally to the tiles so as not to dig into the joints. Do not walk on the damp floors for at least 12 - 24 hours, to avoid leaving dirt.
6 Finishing with foam rubber sponge for a smoother joint: for a smooth finish, complete cleaning with a foam rubber sponge dampened with water from tray ➁, working diagonally to the tiles so as not to dig into the joints.

The level of slide for Fugalite® Bio can be improved when applying with low temperature coverings, or when the product itself has a low temperature, by diluting up to 2 % with clean water (about an espresso coffee cup for each 3 kg bucket).Adding Fuga-Wash Eco to the cleaning water gives a better detergent action on coating materials, keeps the sponge cleaner, improves the surface finish of grouting and cleans effectively without the need for rinsing.
SPECIAL NOTES
PREPARATION OF SUBSTRATESSubstrates must be compact and solid, free of dust, oil and grease, dry and free from moisture rising, with no loose debris or flaky parts such as residues of cement, lime and paint coatings, which must be completely removed. The substrate must be stable, without cracks and have already completed the curing period of hygrometric shrinkage. Uneven areas must be corrected with suitable smoothing and finishing products. On screeds and plasters which are highly absorbent and have dusty, flaky surfaces, it is advisable to apply one or more coats of Primer A Eco water-based, eco-friendly surface isolation primer, following the instructions provided, in order to reduce the water absorption and improve spreadability of the adhesive.
APPLICATIONFugalite® Bio can be applied with a suitable toothed spreader, to be chosen according to the size and type of mosaic. Using the smooth part of the spreader, apply a fine layer of product, pressing down onto the substrate in order to ensure maximum adhesion, after which the thickness can be adjusted as required by tilting the spreader at an angle. Apply the adhesive to a surface area that will allow laying of the coating material within the open time indicated. Press down the pieces of mosaic using a rubber coated spreader to allow for maximum coverage of the surface.
CLEANINGResidual traces of grout can be removed from tools with water before the product has hardened.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AS ADHESIVE FOR GLASS MOSAIC
CLEANING ON THE FOLLOWING DAY
1 Once the grout has dried, any traces of dirt and streaks can be removed using Fuga-Soap Eco, to be diluted in accordance with the amount of grout to be removed and the curing time for Fugalite®. Recommended dosage: 2 - 3 parts water to 1 part Fuga-Soap Eco on the day after; undiluted after 3 days.
2 Distribute the product over the surface to be treated, using the abrasive felt pad and leaving a thin, even film of liquid. Leave Fuga-Soap Eco to work for about 10/30 minutes. After this, clean the surface manually with abrasive felt pad.
3 Collect up the detergent solution with the sponge, rubber scraper or liquid vacuum system for large surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
4 Dry immediately with a dry cloth or liquid vacuum system, without allowing the residual water to evaporate.
Repeat for highly stubborn dirt.
SPECIAL CLEANINGWhen the grout has hardened (after at least 7 days), any residue and streaks can be removed using Fuga-Shock Eco.Distribute the product undiluted over the surface to be treated, using the abrasive felt pad. Leave Fuga-Shock Eco to act for approximately 2 - 5 minutes, then carry out the same rinsing and drying operations indicated for cleaning on the day after application.

Fugalite® Eco - Category: Organic Mineral Products - Class: Organic Mineral Grouts - Rating*: Eco 1
* Rating based on average colour formulations

* Centro Ceramico Bologna has passed the test for Resistance to stains following UNI EN ISO 10545-14 (Test Report N° 3685/11)
Preparation of substrates Before grouting joints, check that tiles have been laid correctly and are anchored perfectly to the substrate. Any water or moisture rising can cause vapour pressure to accumulate, which may in turn loosen the tiles on account of the complete non-absorbency of the grout or of the tiles themselves.Joints must be free from any excess adhesive, even if already hardened. Furthermore they must be of an even depth for the whole width of the tile covering, thereby ensuring maximum chemical resistance. Any dust and loose debris must be removed from the joints by carefully cleaning them with a vacuum cleaner. Before grouting joints, check the cleanability of the tile covering, as porous or highly micro-porous surfaces may make cleaning difficult. It is advisable to perform a preliminary test on tiles not to be laid or in a small, concealed area. In these cases we recommend treating the covering with specific protective products, being careful to avoid applying them to the joints.
PreparationFugalite® Eco is prepared by mixing together parts A and B from the bottom upwards, using a low-rev (≈ 400/min.) helicoidal agitator, respecting the preset ratio of 2.82 : 0.18 of the packs. Pour part B into the bucket containing part A, being careful to mix the two parts uni-formly until a smooth, even coloured mixture is obtained. Mix only enough grout that can be used in full within 45 minutes at +23 ºC, 50% RH. Fugalite® Eco product buckets must be stored at a temperature of approx. 20 °C for at least 2/3 days before use. Higher temperatures make the mixture too fluid and shorten hardening times, while lower temperatures make the mixture harder to spread and slow down setting times. At temperatures of less than 5°C, the product will no longer set.
ApplicationFugalite® Eco must be applied evenly on the tile covering with a hard rubber spreader. Seal the joints by completely grouting them, applying the grout diagonally to the tiles. Remove most of the excess grout immediately using the spreader, leaving only a thin film on the tile. Begin cleaning the tilework when the grout is still fresh. On completion, clean up the surface using a thick, large-sized sponge damped in clean water to avoid removing grout from the joints. Use circular movements to soften the film of grout on the tiles and finish cleaning the joint surface. Specific high-dispersion polymers ensure all grout residues are removed using only a small amount of water, which would otherwise impair the final chemical resistances. Rinse frequently and make sure clean water is used at all times, using appropriate trays and grills with cleaning rollers. If necessary, replace the sponge or felt cleaning pad when saturated with grout. Finish cleaning up by dragging the sponge diagonally across the tiles to avoid going into the joints. Wipe the cleaned surface again with a dry cloth to make sure it is completely clean and there are no streaks of resin remaining. Once the grout has dried, any streaks can be removed using Fuga-Soap Eco, to be diluted in accordance with the number of streaks to be cleaned. Do not walk on floors that are still damp as dirt could still stick to them.
CleaningResidual traces of grout can be removed from tools with water before the product has hardened.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Gold or silver Fuga-Glitter can be used as a additive in Fugalite® Eco to create a metalized decorative effect; add 1 100 g tin to every bucket of grout to obtain a high quality aesthetic finish.

UseWater-resistant grouting of joints from 2 to 15 mm with high chemical and mechanical resistance and a high level of hardness.
Materials to be grouted:- porcelain tiles, ceramic tiles, klinker and ceramic mosaic of all types and formats
Internal and external flooring in domestic, commercial and industrial applications and street furniture subject to permanent or occa-sional contact with chemical substances, in environments subject to heavy traffic, also in areas prone to thermal shock and freezing.
Do not useOn joints less than 2 mm and more than 15 mm in width, on porous flooring for which more specific or alternative chemical resistan-ces are required compared with those listed in the chemical resistances table, to grout elastic expansion or fractionizing joints or on substrates that are not fully dry and subject to moisture rising.
AREAS OF USE
2
®
Preparation of substratesBefore grouting joints, check that tiles have been laid correctly and are anchored perfectly to the substrate. Substrates must be per-fectly dry. Grout joints in accordance with the recommended waiting time indicated on the relative data sheet for the adhesive used. For mortar substrates, wait at least 7 – 14 days depending on screed thickness, ambient weather conditions and on the level of absorption of the covering and the substrate. Any water or moisture rising can cause vapour pressure to accumulate, which may in turn loosen the tiles on account of the complete non-absorbency of the grout or of the tiles themselves.Joints must be free from any excess adhesive, even if already hardened. Furthermore they must be of an even depth for the whole width of the tile covering, thereby ensuring maximum chemical resistance.Any dust and loose debris must be removed from the joints by carefully cleaning them with a vacuum cleaner.
PreparationFugabella® Eco Professional is prepared by mixing together parts A and B from the bottom upwards, using a low-rev (≈ 400/min) heli-coidal agitator, respecting the preset ratio of 7.95 : 0.55 of the packs. Pour part B into the bucket containing part A, being careful to mix the two parts uniformly until a smooth, even coloured mixture is obtained. Only mix an amount of grout that can be used within 1 hour at +23 ºC, 50% R.H. Fugabella® Eco Professional product buckets must be stored at a temperature of approx. +20 °C for at least 2-3 days before use. Higher temperatures make the mixture too fluid and shorten hardening times, while lower temperatures make the mixture harder to spread and slow down setting times. At temperatures of less than +10 °C, the product will no longer set.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ApplicationFugabella® Eco Professional must be applied evenly on the tile covering with a hard rubber spreader. Seal the joints by completely grouting them, applying the grout diagonally to the tiles. Remove most of the excess grout immediately using the spreader, leaving only a thin film on the tile.
Cleaning Right after this, start to clean up the tile surface. On completion, clean the surface using a rigid, thick, large-sized sponge damped in clean water to avoid removing grout from the joints. Use circular movements to soften the film of grout on the tiles and finish cleaning the joint surface. Specific high-dispersion polymers ensure all grout residues are removed using only a small amount of water. The use of an excessive amount of water when cleaning would impair the final chemical resistances. it is important to rinse frequently and make sure clean water is used at all times, using appropriate trays and grills with cleaning rollers. Any remaining grout streaks can be removed before they harden with a 10/20% water-alcohol solution.Residual traces of grout can be removed from tools with water before the product has hardened.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Fugabella® Eco Professional can be used on walls to grout joints of between 2 and 5 mm.
When using Fugabella® Eco Professional to grout joints in large surface areas, use suitable electrical equipment to increase application speed and cleaning times. In particular, a mechanical buffer with hard felt disk will make cleaning easier and faster, ensuring a perfect finish at the same time.
Residual traces of hardened grout on non-absorbent tile coverings can be removed by applying the eco-friendly solvent gel Keragel Eco, following the instructions for use.
Fugabella® Eco Professional has a lower elastic modulus than cementitious grouts with added elastomeric latex or than Fugabella® Eco Flex. As a result, elastic, fractionizing and expansion joints can be created in smaller tilework coverings.
SPECIAL NOTES
High chemical and mechanical resistance grouting of ceramic and porcelain tiles, marble and natural stone is carried out using eco-friendly, epoxy, organic mineral grout with a high level of fluidity and water resistance, for joint thicknesses of 2 mm to 15 mm compliant with EN 13888 - class RG, GreenBuilding Rating® Eco 2, such as Fugabella® Eco Professional by Kerakoll Spa. Joints must be dry and free from traces of adhesive and loose debris. Use a spreader or hard rubber float to apply the grout and suitable sponges and clean water to clean joints on completion. Joints of ____ mm width and tiles ____ x ____ cm in size will give an average coverage of approx. ____ kg/m2. Existing elastic expansion and fractionizing joints must be respected.

PRODUCT STRENGTHS
UseTo be added to the water used to clean Fugalite® Eco, Fugalite® Eco Invisibile and Fugalite® Zero.
Substrates:- ceramic and homogeneous tiles- glass mosaic, marble and natural stone
Do not useTo remove residues and streaks of hardened grout.
AREAS OF USE
Preparation of substratesThe coating materials must first be cleaned to remove any dust. Fugalite® Eco, Fugalite® Eco Invisibile and Fugalite® Zero must still be fresh.
PreparationFuga-Wash Eco is a ready-to-use transparent fluid that can be diluted with water in any ratio. Shake the bottle well before opening in order to redisperse the liquid evenly. Pour one measuring cap (approx. 50 ml) for every 5 litres of water in the cleaning tray.
ApplicationBegin cleaning the tilework when the grout is still fresh. On completion, pour Fuga-Wash Eco into the cleaning tray in the quantities indicated, then clean up the surface using a thick, large-sized damp sponge, preferably made of cellulose, to avoid removing grout from the joints. Use circular movements to soften the film of grout on the tiles and finish cleaning the joint surface. Specific high-dispersion polymers ensure all grout residues are removed using only a small amount of water. The use of an excessive amount of water when cleaning would impair the final chemical resistances.
CleaningResidues of Fuga-Wash Eco can be cleaned from tools by rinsing them thoroughly.

Preparation of substrates The coating materials must first be cleaned to remove any dust. Fugalite® Eco and Fugalite® Eco Invisibile must be fully hardened.
PreparationFuga-Soap Eco is a ready-to-use yellowish liquid, water-dilutable in any ratio depending on the type of dirt to be removed. Shake the bottle well before opening in order to redisperse the liquid evenly.
ApplicationIt is advisable to perform a preliminary test on tiles that are not to be laid, or in a concealed area. Apply Fuga-Soap Eco evenly to the surface to be cleaned and leave it until the dirt to be removed begins to visibly lift; this may take a few minutes or up to 10-30 minutes depending on the quantity, the elapsed time after laying (at least 24 hours) and the degree of absorption of the substrate. Scrape the surface mechanically with abrasive felt pads. Once cleaned, rinse well and dry carefully. The use of wet vacuum makes the operation easier and ensures the complete removal of residue. In the case of large surface areas, a mechanical buffer with an abrasive felt pad for the removing operation is recommended. Repeat for highly stubborn dirt.
CleaningResidues of Fuga-Soap Eco can be cleaned from tools by rinsing them thoroughly with water.
