to Catalina Island! Hikianalia has sailed more than 2,800 miles from the
shores of Hawaiʻi across the North Pacific to California inspiring action toward
an environmentally and culturally thriving world. We are excited to meet you

Help us celebrate the arrival of Hikianalia & crewmembers to Catalina
Island! The arrival will include a ceremonial welcome from the local
Tongva Tribe led by Cindi Alvitre, as well as Hawaiian chants and
cultural protocol from Hikianalia crewmembers.
After spending a few days at Catalina Island, the canoe and crew will continue
their sail down the coast to Dana Point, and then to San Diego, the final port
