ABOUT THE PROJECT

Spanwright UK completed a supply and erection project on a residential development near the New River and Broxbourne Lakes area of Hoddesdon for Newland Construction Ltd, comprising 150mm high density hollowcore flooring and precast concrete stairs.

PROJECT CHALLENGES

Spanwright’s main challenge was that the 2 storey development was constructed on a busy road adjacent to a school with limited access due to existing trees which had to be protected.

However, the Spanwright team overcame this and the site foreman, Ian Venables, was completely satisfied with Spanwright’s installation works over the five site visits.

The problems posed by protected trees onsite were able to be overcome through planning of our installation team communication with the site foreman and effective management of the fitting process
