Hollowcore Flooring is a Precast Prestressed Concrete Slab with tubular voids which run through the full length of the slab, thereby reducing the weight of the unit. With the benefit of prestressing and low self weight, longer spans can be achieved for the same loads or greater loads for the same depths. Building with Confidence The use of Precast Concrete Hollowcore Flooring is a highly cost effective solution that fits easily into any structural system such as steel or concrete frame or indeed masonry construction. The units themselves are manufactured at a width of 1200mm and depths of 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400mm. Hollowcore Slab Benefits Of Using Hollowcore Floor Slabs • Quick installation Eliminates on site formwork and steel fixing Units can be grouted immediately after installation • Stable working platform • High load capacity • Long spans. • High levels of inherent fire resistance • Excellent sound resistance Manufactured offsite to rigorous quality standards Progress on site is not weather dependant Can be designed to incorporate notches, splays, balconies etc. flood precast .ie Hilltown, Oldcastle, Co.
