We have collaborative offices and a great Carpe Diem Studio and Media Room. Come and find us! Carpe Diem Workshops The Carpe Diem Studio is in our super new location at Hackett Hall. This space has been designed to enable you to be creative and relaxed at learning design workshops, so register now! Workshops are open to staff from all Faculties and Schools. The Carpe Diem process is a fast, effective and highly practical design process to enable unit teams to understand, develop and implement forwardlooking, studentcentred learning. It's a great way to rethink your unit and add all those ideas that you always wanted to have a go at. Carpe Diems combine all forms of face to face and digital learning. Just bring along your pedagogical

Workshopsare open to staff from all Facultiesand Schools The Carpe Diemprocess is a fast effective and highlypractical design process to enableunit teams to understand developand implement forwardshylookingstudentshycentred learning Its a greatway to rethink your unit and add allthose ideas that you always wanted to have a go at Carpe Diems combine allforms of face to face and digital learning Just bring along your pedagogical

To July 2015 172 UWA units have been redesigned with 79 of unit coshyordinators already implementing changes Up to 85 of participants agreedthat the workshop supported their teaching activities and recommended CarpeDiems to colleagues

The 2016 WA Teaching and Learning Forum continues a 25 year tradition ofbringing together educators from universities around Perth and beyond todiscuss share and develop their ideas on current trends and good practicelearning and teaching in the Higher Education sector

In 2016 the theme is TLF Purveyors of Fine Learning since 1992which can be applied at the practitioner university and national level

The call for papers and registration is now open and more information isavailable on the Forum website

All UWA staff are eligible for 50 (ex GST) reimbursement of the conferenceregistration fee as supported by the Teaching and Learning Committee (via theCentre for Education Futures) For more information on how to receive thisreimbursement please contact Bec StuartshyCoombe rebeccastuartshycoombeuwaeduau

The first deadline is 26 October 2015 for the submission of full papers Abstracts and workshop proposals are due 16 November 2015
