UNDERSTANDING GENERATIONS Each generation has distinct attitudes, behaviours, expectations, habits and motivational buttons. If you do not understand what the core values to each generation are, it will frustrate you connecting with them, working with them and sharing Jesus with them.

WHAT ABOUT GENERATION “Z” Generation “Z” is only 11 years old and already we are seeing core values that are very disturbing. It is a the coming of age of the gadget society and the techno geek. If we do not understand the way they connect and communicate, we will lose them for eternity. TRANSITION IS NOT AN OPTION BUT A NECESSITY.

We recognise that the Church will grow through relationships, when people see the example of our lives, and the difference that Christ makes to every day living, as well as eternity. LIFE Groups are the environment where these relationships can be established. LIFE Groups will enable Carmel to transition from being an event-driven Church, to a relationship-based Church.

LIFE Groups will also help people transition from merely visiting Carmel, to becoming active participants in the Vision. LIFE Groups will help the Church identify peoples gifts and skills and help them get plugged into the Vision of the Church. Church Life will continue as usual on Sunday morning, ‘not forsaking the gathering of the saints’, so as to continue in the ‘Apostles doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer.’ Acts 2:42;

Sunday Nights will be dedicated to help people simply do life, but life the Bible way where success is guaranteed. There are 5 key areas that man needs to master to have great success, Faith, Family, Finances, Function and Feelings.Sunday Nights must not be seen as another event, but rather a time of fellowship around the practical application of the Word.
