It has been an exciting week as our old fence is slowly being removed. Many students have enjoyed seeing our fencers Greg and Jack working on the Kanga, trimming trees and removing the old posts up and down the fence line on Research Station Drive. Our students (and staff) have adapted well to the changes in our playground. We’ll keep you informed of the progress with a tentative completion date of Day 1 Term 3. For the first time in history (well as long as we can remember), the Carenne Bocce Team defeated Dubbo Delroy Campus in a nail-biting final of the Regional Bocce Championships held in Orange this week. The triumphant Carenne team will now head to Sydney for the State Championship. Mr Neal, Mrs Matheson and Ms Jones were very impressed by the outstanding sportsmanship displayed by all students towards their opponents. Well done Carenne! The new fence is taking shape!
