Participants will program logic controllers used inthe manufacturing industry as well as learn aboutrobotics and industry careers. The camp will endwith an industry tour of the IAC plant inMadisonville.
Students will participate in a mockmine rescue, mock fire rescue, tourthe simulated mine, and experiencemine conditions through interactivemine simulators. The last day ofcamp will end with an industry tour ofthe Warrior Coal Prep Plant facilities.
General Information:
Participants can participate in both camps, but must be between the ages of 12 and15. Students will need to be dropped off and picked up at Madisonville CommunityCollege, Brown Badgett Technology building each day, with the exception of the last
day of camp, where they will meet at the tour facility. Those interested inparticipating must register with Brianna Pantano at [email protected] with nameand t-shirt size. Camp forms (back of page) must be completed and turned in the
first day of camp.
