This Operation Manual (hereinafter referred to as OM) covers the card collector (hereinafter referred to as the "card collector"). The Operation Manual contains information about design, specifications, installation, proper use and maintenance of the card collector.

This Operation Manual is prepared in compliance with the specification requirements ТY Y 31.6-32421280-004:2010.

The card collector shall be serviced only by the qualified staff having the relevant class of permit to work with electrical facilities with voltage up to 1000V and scrutinizing this Operation Manual, obtaining safety instructions and trained for operation and maintenance of the card collector. Reliability and durability of the card collector operation is provided with observation of modes and conditions of transportation, storage, installation and operation. So, fulfillment of all requirements specified in this document is mandatory.

1.4.2 Card collector designThe card collector design body 5 is made of stainless steel (See Fig. 3). In the rear part of the body 5 there is a lock 11 for access to the card collector and the board 7 when power supply unit cables, ACS and turnstile/pedestrian gates 12 are connected. The card collector consists of card container (hopper) 4, card reader* 16 and card-handling mechanism 6. Universal adjustable bracket for card reader 16 fixation is provided under lid. The card reader built in the card collector transfers card code to ACS. ACS generates an authorization signal for card handling into container (hopper) and at the same time sends a command to open exit (doors, turnstiles, etc.)

Cards can be removed from container (hopper) by pulling up shutter. For this the lock 11 on the card collector body 5 to be opened with key. The lid 3 with the card collector mechanism 6 to be lifted manually up to maximum up position, in which the mechanism will be fixed by means of the fixation bar 9 and lateral extendable guide rails 10.

The card collector lid 3 coating is made of glass. The LED display 2 (See Fig. 2) is built in the lid 3. In addition there is a hole 1 in the lid to receive cards with integrated backlight:

Green – authorized access;

Blue – waiting for access (waiting for card presentation);

Red – denied access;

In the bottom part of the body there are cable entry holes.

*The card collector does not include access card reader.

The buyer himself chooses a suitable card reader for his system. This approach ensures maximum versatility when card collector is installed and connected.

1.4.3 Card collector principle of operation

Card collector operating modes:

The card collector operating modes are switched within automated access control system ACS (according to cards).

1) WAITINGIn the initial state, when power supply is ON, red LED display on the card collector lid is red and the card receiving hole LED display is blue.

2) AWAITING ACKNOWLEDGMENT FROM ACS

The user drops his card into the hole on the card collector lid. Card is read within internal channel. Then ACS equipment resolves on the card authority and either places the card in container or leaves it with the user in the hole. At the same time LED display is red and the the card receiving hole backlight is blinking blue.

3) AUTHORIZED ACCESS

After the card is read and ACS authorization command is arrived, the card is placed in the card collector container and simultaneously an access authorization command comes to the relevant turnstile or door. At the same time LED display is green and the card receiving hole backlight is green.

4) DENIED ACCESS

If after the card is read and acknowledgment of authorization command from ACS is not received within 2 seconds, then red LED display is lit and the red card receiving hole backlight is blinking.

More detailed description of the card collector operating modes is specified in paragraph 1.8 "Description and operation of controller as an integral part of the card collector".

1.5 Instrumentation, tools and accessories

Dedicated tools are not required for installation of the turnstile (multi-purpose measurement instrumentation and installation tools are enough (Fig.5).

1.6 Marking

1.6.1 Marking of the actuation device to be delivered within Ukraine is in Ukrainian language and for export delivery in English.

Each actuation device is equipped with identification plate (Fig.4) containing the following data:

name of manufacturer and trade mark;– reference designation of turnstile modification;– index of protection;– serial number;– value of voltage, type of current, frequency

and current consumption;– weight, kg;– date of manufacture;– inscription “MADE IN UKRAINE”.

Identification plate is placed inside the actuation device rack.

22.2 Layout and installation

2.2.1 The card collector and other components of scope of supply to be delivered to installation site in factory packing. The card collector to be unpacked only on installation site.

2 INTENDED USE 2.1 Operating restrictions

2.1.1 The actuation device must be used in the environment specified in p. 1.1.5 of this document subject to the specifications listed in section 1.2.

TO JERK AND IMPACT LED DISPLAY OR OTHER PARTS OF THEACTUATION DEVICE, WHICH MAY CAUSE THEIR MECHANICALDAMAGE;

IMPORTANT: THE MANUFACTURER WARNS OF THE NECESSITY TO KEEP SEALS OF THE MANUFACTURER ON THE CARD COLLECTOR’S COMPONENTS!

2.2.2 Preparation of the actuation device for installation (dismounting) and commissioning to be performed according to this OM with mandatory observation of safety measures specified in p. 2.1 and general electrical safety code.

WARNING:

The card collector damages occurred during transportation are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty liabilities.

2.2.3 Safety Measures:

Installation to be performed only by the persons briefed on safety and studied thismanual;

Only serviceable tools to be used during installation of the card collector; Connection of all cables to be performed only when power supply is OFF;

Cables to be laid in compliance with electric code;

The card collector to be installed by at least 2 installers.

2.2.4 Tools and accessories to be used (Fig.5):

puncher; concrete drills (according to diameter of anchors included in the turnstile scope of delivery); extension cord;

kit of end and pin wrenches;

kit of hexagons;

kit of screwdrivers;

hammer; multimeter (tester); measuring tape ; marker; pliers, side cutters;

2.3 Card collector installation procedure

2.3.1 Installation procedure

IMPORTANT:

The card collector to be installed securely to avoid swinging and (or) overturning during operation. When the card collector is installed on low strength floors the appropriate measures to be taken to strengthen floor at installation site.This section of the instruction manual to be carefully read before the card collector performance check.

1) The package integrity to be checked prior to unpacking. If package is damaged, thendamages to be fixed (picture to be taken, damage report to be made).

2) AD to be unpacked and inspected for defects and damages as well as completenessto be checked according to the product data sheet;

The card collector installation procedure is as follows:

WARNING:

When the card collector damages are detected or in case of shortage of delivery, installation work to be stopped and the AD supplier to be referred to.

3) Make sure that the card collector installation area is ready as follows: The installation site surface to be flat, solid and free of defects (potholes, incrustations,

etc.) and upright installation plus minus 1° to be provided;

Thickness of concrete blinding coat under site to be at least 150 mm.

WARNING: The card collector is fixed by means of Redibolt (with jacket and screw) included in the scope of delivery.

The card collector fixation holes to be marked on the area surface according to Figure 7. The card collector itself can be used as a template, when installed upright on installation site.

The relevant holes to be drilled onthe surface according to the markingdue to diameter of anchors(16×130М12) for the card collectorfixation. Anchor jackets to beinserted into the prepared holes.

WARNING:The card collector installation and fixation to be performed only after all electric cables are pulled.

20) Installation accuracy and integrity of all cables to be checked. Accuracy and reliability ofelectrical connections of the card collector with power supply and ACS controller to beconsecutively checked consecutively.

2.4. Card collector connection

The following procedure to be followed when the card collector is turned on:

1. Power supply source to be connected electric network with voltage and frequency specified inits technical specifications. Power supply source to be turned on.

2. LED display unit corresponding to the operating mode set by controller is displayed on the cardcollector unit.

3. The card collector operation together with ACS controller to be checked upon presentation ofsingle-use cards and permanent cards.

2.4.1 Connection of power supply

The card collector operates from DC power supply with 12 V voltage. The card collector consumption does not exceed 1.5A. Power supply cable to be connected to the board. The power supply unit contacts (+) and (-) to be connected to contacts (+ 12V) and (GND) on the board respectively. Make sure that of power supply wires are connected securely.

2.4.2 ACS connection

The access control system (ACS) is connected to terminal blocks on the board.

The purpose of contacts is specified in Table 5.

2.4.3 Logic of card controller operation

Inputs GND and +12V are used for connection of DC power supply 12V (10V ... 14V).

Input IN1 is used for connection of access control systems. Having received a proximity card code ACS closes IN1 to GND contact, thereby authorizing the card collector accept the card read . Output must be a dry contact or open collector type.

When a card is inserted into the card collector slot, the top optoelectronic sensor is closed, card reader receives the card code and ACS generates the command to accept the card read.

When input IN1 receives an opening signal, then the card collector reader shutter opens and card drops into card storage container. Signal IN1 must be sent not earlier than 2 seconds before the card is dropped in the card collector slot, otherwise it will be ignored.The system will generate an audible signal the card to be picked up by the person.

Having received an authorization signal to remove the card at the specified time intervals, the card collector opens the shutter and the card is removed. The shutter closes automatically after the card removal is confirmed or in 2 seconds, if there was is confirmation for any reason.

2.4.4 Container removal/installation procedure. Card removal.

The following steps to be performed to remove the card accepting container:

1. The card collector to be disconnected from power supply.

2. The key to be inserted into container lock.

3. The lock to be unlocked by turning the key clockwise against the stop.4. Container to be removed from the the card collector mechanism.

5. The hopper shutter to be carefully lifted to remove access cards.6. The lock to be unlocked by turning the key counterclockwise against

the stop.

WARNING:

After the lock is locked the card collector mechanism with lid should fit tightly without any distortions to the card collector body.

IT IS FORBIDDEN: TO USE DEFECTIVE APPLIANCES, TOOLS, INSTRUMENTATION, FUSES THE SERVICE LIFE OF WHICH EXPIRED.

3 MAINTENANCE

3.1 General guidelines

3.1.1 Commissioning and subsequent maintenance of the actuation device to be performed only by the staff to be in charge of the actuation device.

3.1.2 The actuation device to be serviced only by the staff having the relevant electrical safety qualification level according to the national requirements.

3.1.3 The actuation device to be installed and operated only by the qualified safety briefed staff having the relevant class of permit to work with electrical facilities with voltage up to 1000V, awaring of this OM, the card collector design and principle of operation.

3.2 Safety Measures

3.2.1 During maintenance of the card collector the relevant safety measures according to p. 2.1 to be observed.

3.2.2 When instrumentations are prepared for operation it is necessary to strictly comply with the safety requirements specified in instrumentation instruction manuals.

3.3 Maintenance procedure

3.3.1 The card collector maintenance includes preventive measures which are taken according to the established frequency to maintain the the card collector in operational condition, decreasing of component wearing and prevention of faults and malfunctions.

3.3.2 Daily and periodic maintenance of the the card collector are recommended. Normally the daily maintenance is carried out before the beginning of operation or during operational timeout and includes visual inspection of the card collector body and, if required, troubleshooting of mechanical damages, surface corrosion and contamination.

IT IS FORBIDDEN:TO USE ABRASIVE AND CHEMICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES DURING CLEANING OF CONTAMINATED EXTERNAL SURFACES OF THE PRODUCT.

3.3.3 Periodic maintenance is performed at least twice a year and includes as follows:

4.2 Troubleshooting

Possible malfunctions of the turnstile and their remedies are listed in Table 6. In case of other faults it is advised to refer to the service centre of the TiSO-PRODUCTION LTD.

5.2 Card collector transportation

5 STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

5.1 Card collector storage

It is forbidden to subject the card collector to jerks and impacts during storage. Transportation trolleys to be used for handling of the actuation device. There should not be aggressive gases and vapours causing metal corrosion in storage facilities.

Air temperature during storage should not be below +50 С and above +400 С and relative air humidity should not be more than 80% at the temperature 20° С.

The ready-to-install card collector to be transported according to the transportation regulations related to the relevant mode of transport, such as:

– in railway or special containers;

– in closed vehicles;

– waterborne (in ship’s hold) .

Transportation on open platforms is allowed. In this case the packed actuation device to be covered with canvas. Air temperature during transportation should not be below -40°С and above +50°С. After transportation or storage of the card collector at negative temperatures or increased humidity the card collector to be kept indoor with normal climatic conditions without original packing within 12 hours before commissioning:

1) ambient temperature: + 15°С to +35°С;2) relative humidity: 45% to 80 %;3) atmospheric pressure: 84,0 to 106,7kPa (630-800 mm Hg).

6 DISPOSALThe card collector design does not contain materials environmentally hostile and hazardous to human health and special measures are not required for its disposal.

9 MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY AND TERMS OF WARRANTY MEAINTENANCE

9.1. The manufacturer guarantees good state and declared quality of the card collector, if conditions of transportation, storage, installation and operation are observed by the customer.

9.2. The warranty period of the card collector from the date of sale is:

unless otherwise specified upon a mutual agreement of the parties.9.3 During warranty period the Manufacturer undertakes to perform repair or replacement within 10 days (at the discretion of Manufacturer) of the failed card collector or its parts having proven factory defects (not due to nonobservance of storage, transportation, installation and operation conditions specified by this OM) preventing further use of the card collector.

The Manufacturer does not bear responsibility and warranty liabilities for consequences (damage) due to nonobservance of the conditions specified by this OM.

9.4 Warranty liabilities of the Manufacturer are valid only if sections 7, 8, 9 of this OM and warranty coupon are completed as well as the relevant signatures and seals are available. The product is repaired only by the authorized service center of the manufacturer with use of exclusively original spare parts. Warranty liabilities don’t include free-of-charge arrival of technical staff to the Customer for repair.

9.5 The Manufacturer does not bear responsibility and warranty liabilities in case of unintended use of the card collector (p.2.1.2).

9.6 The relationships between the Manufacturer and the Customer under warranty liabilities are regulated by the applicable law of Ukraine, concluded purchase contracts and the manufacturer's warranty according to the instruction manuals.
