    Car drives into Lexus of Watertown building, strikes man inside

    WATERTOWN A man was transported to the hospital on Monday after a co-workertransporting an SUV in the service area of a car dealership hit him before crashing into awall.

    At 10:40 a.m. on Jan. 3, police responded to Lexus of Watertown, 330 Arsenal St., after asubcontractor hired to detail vehicles lost control of a car and crashed it into a wall in theservice area, striking his co-worker.

    According to Watertown Police Lieutenant Michael Lawn, the worker was moving the SUVfrom the washing area to have it dried when the car accelerated, hitting another subcontractorbefore hitting the corner of the building.

    The victim was reportedly rolling up a hose when he was hit. Lawn said the suspect jumpedout of the vehicle and fled on foot through the back door of the dealership. The victim wastransported to Beth Israel Hospital where he was reportedly treated for minor injuries. The
