United States. The HME Excellence awards are given annually
through HME News, the premier publication covering the home
medical equipment and respiratory care industry. Independent
judges evaluate company performance in the following categories:
fi nancial, community involvement, staffi ng and quality control.
The HME Excellence Awards seek to identify the nation’s premier providers of home medical equipment and Cape Medical Supply is incredibly proud to have earned such an honor. Winners are chosen based on criteria measuring quality control, patient compliance, staffi ng levels and accreditation by national healthcare rating organizations. Cape Medical was chosen in large part due to the effi ciency of its care and innovative use of technology to ensure that patients are receiving the proper care and are matched to the proper equipment in the most effi cient way possible. Many of these innovations were developed and fi rst implemented here on Cape Cod.

Cape Medical has dedicated personnel and software to manage the intake and qualification of your PAP referrals to ensure timely processing and full coverage for the prescribed procedures.
Every patient is outfitted with a wireless monitoring device to enhance visibility into the quality and efficacy of their therapy and all patients are monitored by an in-house RT whose full time job responsibility is to elevate the compliance rates with education, engagement and appropriate intervention.
Cape Medical utilizes advanced technology solutions to ensure patients are notified of their eligibility to receive replacement products at the time their insurance company allows, greatly enhancing long term therapy success rates and keeping engagement between Cape Medical and the patient.
Dedicated scheduling professionals work evenings and weekends to increase availability for working professionals and shorten the time required to schedule a visit with one of our highly skilled and trained Respiratory Therapists.
Our team of clinical professionals work with great patience and skill with CPAP patients, ensuring they have a strong understanding of their disease state and therapy; patients leave educated and ready to begin a successful therapy process.
Our expertise in the treatment of sleep therapy begins with a well defined process that is managed and undertaken by skilled administrative and clinical professionals. These processes lead to reduced cycle times and a higher rate of success with prescribed therapy.
