Quality Management System

To deliver high quality fabricated products and services within tight timeframes it is paramount to

have reliable systems in place. Still Engineering maintains a stringent Quality Management System

(QMS) designed around the internationally recognised standards of ISO9001.

The application of a system of processes within the company, together with the identification and

interactions of these processes, and their management, is referred to as a “process approach”.

Still Engineering follows a process approach when developing, implementing and improving the

effectiveness of our QMS, to enhance customer satisfaction by carefully ascertaining, and then

meeting customer requirements.

An advantage of the process approach is the ongoing control that it provides over the linkage

between the individual processes within the system, as well as over their combination and

interaction.

When used within a Quality Management System, our approach emphasizes the importance of:

1. Understanding and meeting requirements,

2. The need to consider processes in terms of added value,

3. Obtaining results of process performance and effectiveness, and

4. Continual improvement of processes based on objective measurement.

Still Engineering’s QMS adheres to the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” (PDCA) system for all processes. PDCA

can be briefly described as follows:

Plan: Establish the objectives and processes necessary to deliver results in accordance with

customer requirements and the organisation's policies.

Do: Collaborate with proven information providers (internally and externally) to design and

implement the processes.

Check: Monitor and measure processes and product against policies, objectives and requirements

for the product and report the results.

Act: Take actions to continually improve process performance.

WHS Management System

Still Engineering is very proud of a long track record of safe operations. We adhere to stringent WHS

management systems and have achieved our safety record in the most hazardous of environments

including underground mine operations, confined space work and significant construction projects,

including working at heights.

Our WHS System is comprised of:

1. Compliance with relevant Acts and Regulations

2. Rigorous safety policies and procedures

3. Proactive and constant senior management involvement in a safety culture

4. Online access for all staff to safety documents, safety policies, procedures and checklists

5. Prestart meetings every day at all work sites

6. Proactive programs such as the 5 P Safety Code created by Still Engineering

7. Risk Management, JSEA and SWP procedures

8. Still Engineering fleet preventative maintenance program

9. Employee training and development program

10. Develop and implement an environmental policy to reduce our ecological footprint

Still Engineering is currently undertaking work to gain ISO4801 accreditation for our WHS System.
