The workshop will run from 9.30am to 11.15am, this is a great opportunity for our students to spend the morning with other students from Calare and Bletchington schools. Students need to be dropped off at Bletchington PS. Mrs Carrigan will meet students at the front gate of Bletchington PS (Matthews Ave) from 9am, they will be returned to school by bus. Stop work meeting On Thursday morning there will be a Teachers Federation meeting. The school will still be operational and it should cause little disruption to parents. However, some teachers will be at the meeting and therefor affected classes will be split from 9:15am to 10:15am. Normal teaching will then resume. Responsible Pet Education Program On Thursday, students in K-2 will attend a program at school about responsible pet ownership. They will be taught about how to stay safe around dogs, signs to look for when dogs should be left alone, a safe way to approach dogs and things we should not do to dogs. There will be a suitably tested dog in attendance as part of the program. This is a NSW Government education program. Feel free to visit the website www.pets.nsw.gov.au Band open practice A note will be going home with an invitation to all parents of band children to attend an open practice. The open practice will be on Friday the 13 th and it gives all parents an opportunituy to see what band practice is like. This Friday, band practice will not begin until 9:15am.
