Reactive Dogactice Groups

April 23, May 21, June 18, July 16, Aug 20, Oct 1 1-2:30pm

Cost: $45 one person + one dog, $10 for each additional person. Instructors: Caroline Spark and Julie Callow

The small group dynamic and wide open space of our country class setting provide a unique learning environment for dogs to feel safe, build trust and progress towards more peaceful walks, calm interactions with other dogs, and positive public outings.

Reactive dogs need more opportunities to relax! It’s stressful for them to encounter other dogs at close quarters everywhere they go. Give your reactive dog the chance to chill out and experience the pleasures of being in nature! In our reactive dog camps and classes, we provide a high trainer-student ratio, lots of space, and carefully structured exercises to maximize learning and comfort. The presence of other dogs at carefully maintained distances just becomes part of the landscape and learning happens more effectively. You and your dog will begin to realize that the sight of other dogs doesn’t have to spell disaster, and even relish opportu-nities to practice being calm and focused around other dogs.
