Educaon is constantly changing, especially with the addion of new teachers new ideas, classroom updates, the latest research and technological advances, every year is different. What’s new and excing at CISB is our technological advances in the high school program. In Canada we’d call it “No More Snow Days”! Students can be producve and learn at home during illnesses, family trips and unexpected school closures. Students who need specialized metables to meet university pre-requisite requirements can work with teachers, and the Google Classroom, to complete these courses. The latest research, (Healy, M (2017). Psychology Today, Online), supports nightly reading (20 minutes for elementary aged children and 30 minutes for middle and high school students). CISB is providing cung edge English instrucon in the enre school. With the “I Can Read” Program in the pre-school to grade 2, all the way to the ELA 10F, 20F, 30S and 40S classes in the high school, students are learning English through reading.
