NIGHTLY GHOST LIST

This is a list of all the encounters with all the different non-threatening(most of the time) ghost that you will meet up with. Please note that I have

only listed a ghost here if it has a name whenever you take snapshot of it.

There are a few ghost that are nameless, but still worth points. Ghost with anasterisk (*) beside them are only found in the second playthrough after you

have beaten the game one time.

-- Daydream --

The Turned Back Man (500 Pts) - Behind the shutters as you go to the left at

the beginning of the Hall with Tatami.

Beckoning Yuu (500 Pts) - After going up the steps in the Hall with Tatami go

to the right and he will be walking down the hall through the doorway in the

distance.

Wandering Mother and Wandering Daughter (4,000 Pts) - These two will appear inthe room behind the wall next to the hallway, just as you go by the room. They

can be photographed separately for 2,000 Pts each.

Lattice Woman (500 Pts) - Behind the lattice in the Barred Hallway.

Girl in Hallway (500 Pts) - (1)(2) On both sides of the Garden Corridor in each

of the halls.

Disappearing Yuu (500 Pts) In the Shrine Courtyard after the cutscene. Youwill need to be quick with this snapshot.

-- First Night --

Girl in Study (2,000 Pts) - In the partitioned room, she will go by the lattice

window on the side. You must be extremely ready for this ghost.

Daughter at Door (500 Pts) - As you walk up to the door on the right side of the Foyer hallway she will appear at the door.

Wandering Mother and Wandering Daughter (1,000 Pts) - They will appear on your first trip inside the Hearth Room right near the pot.

2nd Floor Woman (1,000 Pts) - Go up to the stairs at the Hearth Room to see her go by upstairs.

Impaling Girl (1,000 Pts) - In the 2F Corridor, use the peephole to see her.



* Peeping Girl (1,000 Pts) - In the 2F Corridor, she will appear after Impaling

Girl in the peephole.

Crouching Woman (1,000 Pts) - In the 2F Corridor, she will appear behind the

lattice after you have seen the Impaling Girl.

Lattice Woman (500 Pts) - Behind the bars in the 2F Corridor upon leaving the

room after seeing the Impaling Girl and Crouching Woman.

Crouching Woman (2,000 Pts) - On your way back into the Foyer from fighting the

Wandering Mother, she will be in the hall. Take a pic once you reach the first

turn.

Mother Downstairs and Daughter Downstairs (1,000 Pts) - Once you come back to

the Hearth Room after seeing all the ghosts in the 2F Corridor, they will

appear downstairs once you reach the middle portion of the stairs.

-- Second Night --

Escaping Woman (1,000 Pts) - In the Foyer, upon revisiting the Manor of Sleep

for the second time, she will run by as you near the end of the hall. This

shot must be taken the instant the camera switches angles to catch her.

Downstairs Daughter (2,000 Pts) - In the Hearth Room, when revisiting the Manor

of Sleep, she will appear below the stairs while you're going up them. Start

from the bottom and run (don't walk) up the stairs and stop the second you hear the chime. Equip the camera, look down, and you should have the perfect angle

to snap her pic.

Screaming Woman (2,000 Pts) - In the Downstairs Hallway, she will escape into

the back of the hall up the stairs as you enter the room. She is extremely

hard to catch. I would recommend that you upgrade you range some beforeattempting this shot.

Woman in Corner (1,000 Pts) - At the very top of the stairs she will run by in

the background of the Stairs Hallway 2F.

Man Stopped Dead (1,000 Pts) - In the Stairs Hallway 1F. This is a freebie

ghost and must be shot to go further.

Crouching Woman (500 Pts) - At the 2F Corridor, in the room near the end of the

hall.

-- Third Night --

Tormented Woman (1000 Pts) - In the Corridor behind the latticed doors.



Encircling Shadow (500 Pts) - In the Corridor behind the latticed doors. It is

possible to get Tormented Woman and Encircling Shadow altogether in one shotfor 1,500 Pts.

Bending Shadow (x3) (1,500 Pts) - In the Stairs Hallway 2F upon reaching thetop of the stairs.

-- Fourth Night --

* Closet Child (500 Pts) - She will be hiding in Rei's closet. You have to

exit Rei's Room and then reenter for her to appear. You'll hear her crying.

Second playthrough only.

Man Upstairs (1,000 Pts) - At the top of 3F Stairs Hallway as you go by the

stairs that go up.

Lurking Woman (1,000 Pts) - In the Grave Courtyard, walk up to the well on the

right as you enter from the Stained Hallway, point your camera toward it andshe will appear.

Escaping Man (1,000 Pts) - While going up the stairs that lead to the 3F

Storage Room he will run toward the small door.

-- Fifth Night --

Wandering Mother (1,000 Pts) - (1) She will appear behind you as you walk to

the stairs of the Stairs Hallway (1F). You must not take a pic of the Hiding

Daughter in the Grave Courtyard before entering the Stairs Hallway, or she willnot appear. (2) In the hallway in the Foyer that leads to the Hearth Room.

Hiding Daughter (1,000 Pts) - (1) To the left of the graves as you enter theGrave Courtyard. (2) Beside the railing of the stairs as you go up the stairs

in the third floor Storage Room. (3) Behind the cloth in the Hearth Room,

upstairs across from the save point.

Waiting Mother (1,000 Pts) - She will appear once you have gone midways into

the Partitioned Room.

Girl in Back (1,000 Pts) - (1) She will interrupt you from the back, in the

Projection Room, as you try to watch the film. (2) She will appear behind you

as you check the middle door in the Garden Corridor. You must take this pic before the Hallway Girl appears.

* Book Girl (1,000 Pts) - Above the Type 14 film in the Projector Room. Aim

your camera upwards when you go up to the film. Second playthrough only.



Woman Past Bars (500 Pts) - She will appear behind the bars in the Barred

Hallway.

Hallway Girl (500 Pts) - As you get next to the stairs that lead down to the

tree in the Garden Corridor, she will appear in the back hall.

2nd Floor Woman (1,000 Pts) - As you near the top of the stairs in the Closet

Hallway, she will be in the back by the railing.

Hand Sucked into Floor (1,000 Pts) - Look near the floor of the wall in the

Hall with Tatami to find the small opening and take a pic of it.

Impaling Girl (1,000 Pts) - Look through the peephole after taking a pic of the

small door in the Garden Corridor to find her.

Doll Altar Girl (500 Pts) - As you enter the Doll Altar East room she willappear.

-- Sixth Night --

Girl Beyond Bars (500 Pts) - Move to the middle of the Confinement Room and

snap a pic of her behind the bars.

Beckoning Girl (1,000 Pts) - (1) She will be in the back of the hall and will

walk to the right as you reenter the rope hallway. (2) (500 Pts) In the Hallwith Tatami, she will continue to lead the way once again as you walk down the

hall.

Hand from Hole (500 Pts) - In the Hall with Tatami located in the small opening

near the bottom of the wall, in the same place that Rei found it on the fifth

night.

Girl at Door (500 Pts) - As you get near the steps that go down to the middle

door in the Blind Room, she will appear.

Imprisoned Woman (2,000 Pts) - As you open the door to the Tattoo Altar from

the Blind Room, DO NOT move from that spot. Aim your camera up toward the cage

above to snap this shot.

-- Seventh Night --

Woman before Koto (1,000 Pts) - She will appear at the koto (behind the

screen), after you have checked the door that is locked with the Holly

engraving on the west side of the Kimono Room. In order to catch her you must

look between the Kimonos. Do not walk around the side of the kimonos or she



will walk away from the koto.

Man in Screen (2,000 Pts) - behind the screen as you come out of the BellHallway. You will need to run to the left of the screen and snap him quickly

to get this shot.

Secretive Old Woman (1,000 Pts) - appears upstairs as you walk into the Hall

with Tatami.

Woman Brushing (1,000 Pts) - after getting the camera obscura take a pic of her

by the mirror stand in the Kimono Room.

Disappearing Man (1,000 Pts) - When you go back to the door that was previouslylocked in the Hall with Tatami he will go toward the door as you round the

corner.

Blind Room Man (2,000 Pts) - He will appear the first time you enter the BlindRoom with Kei. In order to get this shot, you will have to find an area where

you can look past the curtain into the room. Go to the side opposite the sideyou are currently at when you first enter this room from the Hall with Tatami.

Facing the other side of the curtain there is a narrow open space on the left

side that you can look through and snap him.

Woman in Dark (1,000 Pts) - She will appear in the back as you walk into the

Flickering Hallway.

Mio Amakura (0 Pts) - Strangely, once you find Mio in the Confinement Room you

can snap a shot of her and it will display her name below the photo.

-- Eighth Night --

Man at the Spirit Tree (1,000 Pts) - He will appear in front of the tree in theGarden Corridor as you approach it at the beginning of the eighth night.

Man in Dresser (1,000 Pts) - A trail of blood will lead you to him in the

Closet Hallway.

Girl on Roof (1,000 Pts) - On the roof overlapping the Grave Courtyard as you

walk to the middle of the area.

Crashing Woman (500 Pts) - In the Room with Blind, walk up to the closet and

equip your camera to look at the kimono doll inside and she will "appear".

Peeping Woman (1,000 Pts) - While going toward the save point in the Foyer she

will appear at a window in the background. Go midways down the stairs and

point your camera up at the window to snap her.



Girl Atop Ladder (1,000 Pts) - She will appear at the top of the ladder as you

walk up to it in the Hearth Room.

Peeking Girl (1,000 Pts) - When entering the Tatami Loft she will appear off to

the side.

Woman in Floor (500 Pts) - When backtracking to the Kimono Room, she will

appear behind the bars at your feet in the Foyer.

Ceremony Woman (1,000 Pts) - Look through the peephole in the Wooden Figure

Room to take a pic of her.

Woman at Feet (500 Pts) - In the back of the Dark Room when you wake up from

the eighth night in Rei's house.

-- Ninth Night --

Girl in the Blind (500 Pts) - (1) In the Blind Room she will appear behind the blind in front of you. Look to the right side. (2) In the same place when

coming back to the Tattoo Altar with all the stones; she will appear right when

you start to go down the stairs.

Ceremony Woman (500 Pts) - When looking through the peephole above the Wooden

Figure Room (go through the beams Above the Foyer to get there) take a pic of

her.

-- Tenth Night --

Worn-out Man (1,000 Pts) - He will appear as you open the closet door in the

Great Hall.

Twins at Hearth (1,000 Pts) - Walk to the right side of the Great Hall and they

will appear next to the hearth in the back.

Peering Girl (500 Pts) - As you walk down the stairs of the Book Storeroom thecamera angle will switch and she will be far off in the background looking down

at you from up above.

2nd Floor Twins (1,000 Pts) - As you enter the Hearth Room of All God's Village

from the bottom floor they will walk by upstairs.

Woman Beyond Bars (1,000 Pts) - appears in the background after you collect the

Ginger Key from the closet of the Kimono Room.

Twin Maidens (1,000 Pts) - They will appear as you enter the Twins' Room after



unlocking it with the Ginger Key.

Girl Beyond Bars (2,000 Pts) - She will pass by the bars of the Twins' Roomafter you pick up the last key.

-- Eleventh Night --

Hand Under Bed (500 Pts) - In Rei's Room under the bed as you walk back from

the bathroom.

Bowing Girl (500 Pts) - (1)(2) In the Garden Corridor, in the halls of both

sides, a bowing girl will appear.

Disappearing Man (500 Pts) - Walks down the hall as you walk down the west side

(on the map) of the Stained Hallway.

Determined Man (1,000 Pts) - On the floor of the Sacrificial Room.

Distressed Woman (1,000 Pts) - She will appear behind the sliding doors in thePartitioned Room if you took the photo of Yoshino surrounded by shadows the

last time you played with Rei on Hour VI.

Falling Woman (2,000 Pts) - As you walk down the hall of the Rope Hallway, onyour way back from the Rope Palace, enter finder view and aim toward the small

window near the ceiling in the back. Once you reach midways she will fall from

above. You must take a pic of the platform in the Rope Palace to make her appear.

Trapped Woman (1,000 Pts) - She will be hiding in the closet of the Futon Room.

Woman at Shrine (1,000 Pts) - It's actually two women. As you go down the

steps of the Shrine Courtyard they will appear in the distance.

-- Twelfth Night --

Door Woman (1,000 Pts) - As you near the stairs of the Barred Hallway she willappear at the top and go inside the Kimono Room.

Crying Woman (500 Pts) - In the Kimono Room she will be at the mirror stand.

Corridor Woman (2,000 Pts) - She will appear as you walk by the left side of

the Garden Corridor.

Man on Roof (1,000 Pts) - He will walk by the roof above as you go under the

shrine gate in the Shrine Courtyard. Use the camera autotracking to find him

better.



Peering Girl (500 Pts) - She will appear in a room above the Book Storeroom as

you walk by the wreckage.

2nd Floor Twins (500 Pts) - They will appear upstairs in the Hearth Room and

walk over to the Twins' Room.

Twins' Ceremony (1,000 Pts) - In the Twins' Room, they will appear in the

middle upon entering.

Attic Woman (1,000 Pts) - She will crawl by on the left, under the floor, as

you ascend the stairs in the Book Storeroom.

Screen Girl (0 Pts) - In the Book Storeroom (3F), she will appear beside the

glowing blue area once finder view is entered when you walk around the folding

screen. In order to get this shot you will have to take a snapshot of the

actual ghost and not the glowing blue area. Stand to the left of the bodybagon the floor and the focus will not turn blue while aiming at her. She will

appear for a whole second and will state, "Help me.", in which you will have toshoot her during that time. She is not worth any points, so you will have to

check your photos to make sure you timed the pic just right. Look for her name

under "Target".

Man on Roof (500 Pts) - He will appear on the roof across from you when you

first enter the Shrine Courtyard (roof).

Woman Beyond Bars (500 Pts) - Go back to the Foyer after you get the Purifying

Candle and she will be in the back of the bars as you go by them.

-- Thirteenth Night --

2nd Floor Man (1,000 Pts) - When you enter the Blind Room head to the left sideas you enter and he will be ascending the stairs to the Library.

Screen Girl (1,000 Pts) - She will appear behind the screen as you reach the

top of the stairs in the 3rd floor of the Book Storeroom.

Woman in Dark (1,000 Pts) - She will appear in the back of Miku as you walk

down the middle row of the Flickering Hallway upon putting the commandment tomein place.

Girl Near Prison (1,000 Pts) - She will appear at the door outside of the cageafter you read the Tattooed Diary 1 in the Hanging Prison.

Girl in Back (500 Pts) - She will appear in the back of Miku as you go down the

stairs of the Kimono Room after exiting the Hanging Prison.



Courtyard Girl(s) (500 Pts) - They will both appear at the tree as you reenter

the Garden Corridor after collecting the Mirror of Loss. Take of picture of both of them. (2) As you walk over to the left they will appear once again!

Praying Senior (1,000 Pts) - She will be praying at the altar in the EngravingShrine as you return from collecting the Mirror of Loss.

Receding Woman (2,000 Pts) - In the Last Passage she will go through the door in the back as you come up to the staircase.

Girl in Abyss (500 Pts) - At the bottom of the Abyss as you walk down the

stairs of the Abyss.

-- Fourteenth Night --

Beckoning Mafuyu (1,000 Pts) - He will appear on the other side of the PreserveRoom as you enter.

Dangling Hand (500 Pts) - This will appear in the right barred window as you

cross the boards. It will remain there until you look at it closely in finder

view.

-- Fifteenth Night --

Stroller Grandma (1,000 Pts) - Walk downstairs before going to sleep and take a pic of her as she barrels down the hallway next to the Altar Room.

Closet Child (2,000 Pts) - In the Barred Hallway closet.

Mirror Woman (2,000 Pts) - On your way to the Wooden Figure Room, before you go

inside look at the mirror beside the door and you will be able to see her.Take a pic of the left side of the door that leads to the Wooden Figure Room to

catch her on film. She will get mad and attack afterwards. You must take this

pic before entering the Wooden Figure Room or else she will attack you as you

exit next time and will not appear in the mirror anymore. You must also NOTenter the other side of the Barred Hallway (with the Herbal Medicine) or she

will not appear in the mirror.

Crying Woman (1,000 Pts) - As you get through reading Purple Diary 4 in the

Closed Room she will appear behind you. This pic can also be taken on the

twelfth night.

-- Final Night --

Attic Woman (1,000 Pts) - Listen the Ototsuki tape in Rei's Room, then pick up



the Spirit Radio and enter Miku's Room. Go to the middle of the room and go up

into the attic. Walk to the back and she will appear.

Girl Under Desk (500 Pts) - After going through all of the above and getting

the earring, she will be under Rei's desk when she returns to her room.

Ceremony (Girls) (1,000 Pts x 2) - They will both be in the room in the middle

of the Corridor. Look through the peephole and take a pic of each.

Handmaiden's Last (1,000 Pts x 2) - They will both be lying on the ground as

you enter the Enclosed Room from the 3F Attic Room.

Shrine Woman (500 Pts) - She will be waiting at the doors of the EngravingShrine after you enter the Shrine Courtyard after collecting all the pieces of

the Mirror of Loss.

Woman in Blind (500 Pts) - She will be behind the blind in the EngravingShrine.

Woman in Shrine (1,000 Pts) - She will appear next to the small shrine as you

walk down the bridge of the Last Passage in the Final Hour.

Beckoning Woman (500 Pts x2) - At the Abyss, when the screen turns monochrome,go into finder view and take a pic of the two BECKONING WOMAN ghosts that

appear on each side behind you.

The first 33 ghosts are secret ghosts, and the rest are found throughout the

game at various places - usually allowing you to see them. The list will only

show the first 33 ghosts on your first playthrough. The second playthroughwill list all 217. Please note that some of these ghost will not appear on

your first playthrough.

1. Makie Kuzuhara/Kozue - In the Hearth Room, walk over to the door that leadsto the Hall with Tatami and stand in the area in between the two columns. Aim

toward the hearth to take a pic of them. Second playthrough only.

2. Kyoka Kuze - Stand on the cushion next to the mirror stand, in the Closed

Tatami Room, and aim down at the mirror stand to take a pic of her. Second playthrough only.

3. Woman in Closet - Take a snapshot of the area right below the Japanese doll

in the closet of the Room with Blind on the fifteenth night with Kei.

4. Yashu Kuze - As you enter the Room with Blind, move to the opening betweenthe window on the wall and take a pic of the small lump in the middle of the

blanket to catch a pic of her. Second playthrough only.

5. Inverted Woman - Take a snapshot of the right side of the roof once you exitthrough the door in the 3F Storage Room on the fourth night.

6. Handmaiden (Hisame) - Right before going into the Grave Courtyard, stand in

the middle of the Round Window Foyer and aim your camera at the entrance to the

Graveyard. Move the camera up until you are aiming at the paper windows at thevery top. Snap a shot to reveal the most devoted of the Priestess Girls.

7. Reika Yakishiro - In the Round Window Foyer (above), when you get on the beams and walk by the box on the left, equip your camera and aim toward the

box's opening to take a pic of her. Second playthrough only.

8. Handmaiden (Minamo) - In the Closet Hallway, after taking a pic of the Man

in Dresser behind the dresser, turn around and walk up to the dolls in the basket. Aim in between the dolls to snap this ghost. Second playthrough only.

9. Hidden Carpenters - In the Barred Hallway on the fifth night, right next to

the Herbal Medicine through the doorway in the middle. Walk up to the bars and

aim toward the room on the other side.

10. Child in the Snow - In the Barred Hallway (go through the Kimono Room), on

the eighth night, walk over to where the snow is hitting the floor, aim your

camera upwards, and take a pic of the broken boards above.

--- Hour: VI --- Night: Eight --- Location: Barred Hallway

11. Tengai Narumi - In the Hall with Tatami, walk toward the hall that goes to

the Rope Hallway. Just as you enter the hall, the filament should turn blue.

Aim your camera towards the wall of the room with the two kimonos and up a

little ways so that it slightly hits the area above. Snap a shot to revealhim. Second playthrough only.

12. Handmaiden (Amane) - When the camera angle displays the cage up above, walk

over to the right side of the room (this will be the southeast point on themap) and turn around to face the cage in the middle. Aim toward the upper

portion of the corner of the cage to snap a pic of her. Second playthrough

only.

13. Reika Kuze - After picking up the mirror fragment from the cage in theHanging Prison, exit the cage and walk to the left side (north on the map) and

take a pic of the inside of the cage (the blanket) to find her. Second

playthrough only.

14. Man Under Floor - While Under the Floor (crouching) with Miku on the ninth

night take a picture of the second right wooden pillar that is supporting the

floor while midways under the floor.

--- Hour: VII --- Night: Nine --- Location: Under the Floor (crouching)

15. Unengraved Woman - In the Wooden Figure Room, before picking up the mirror fragment, stand to the left of the altar, behind the two fallen figures and aim

your camera directly at the left side of the altar to take a pic of her.

16. Projector Woman - In the Projection Room on the seventh night with Kei.

Take a pic of the screen while standing next to the projector.

17. Crushed Woman - Walk over to the collapsed stairs in the Book Storeroom of

the tenth night, point your camera at the debris and take a pic when the

crosshairs glow.

18. Binding Man - When the figure on the chest appears in the Twins' Room,

stand directly in front of him and take a pic of his body to reveal the ghost.

19. Wedge Man - In the Rope Shrine of night ten with Kei, walk to the middle

near the altar and take a pic of the area above the altar.

--- Hour: VIII --- Night: Ten --- Location: Rope Shrine

20. Handmaiden (Shigure) - In the Doll Altar South, stand to the right of the

table and back a little ways. Aim your camera toward the right end of the

table to snap a pic of her. Second playthrough only.

21. Summoned Men - In the Tatami Loft, peek down into the room below and snap a

shot of the body bags on the eighth night.

22. Beam Woman - Stop in the middle of the Rope Hallway, point your cameraupwards, and take a shot of the body bag hanging from the ceiling on the eighth

night.

23. Kizuna Himuro - As you enter the Confinement Room, walk to the left side of

the cage and stand in front of the small table and cushion that are on theground behind the bars. Equip your camera and aim directly at the cushion to

snap a pic of her. Second playthrough only.

24. Battered Man - In the Shrine Courtyard with Kei on the twelfth night take a

pick of the collapsed building on the right side.

162. Mirror Woman - On your way to the Wooden Figure Room, before you go inside

look at the mirror beside the door and you will be able to see her. Take a pic

of the left side of the door that leads to the Wooden Figure Room to catch her



on film. She will get mad and attack afterwards. You must take this pic

before entering the Wooden Figure Room or else she will attack you as you exit

next time and will not appear in the mirror anymore. You must also NOT enter the other side of the Barred Hallway (with the Herbal Medicine) or she will not

appear in the mirror.

Yoshino Shadow - Before starting Hour II, go downstairs and walk into the dark

room and leave. Once you go by the Altar Room, on your way back toward the

Living Room, a dark shadow ghost will appear in the Altar Room.

Tattooed Priestess - At the beginning of Hour V, as you exit the room that Kei

starts from in the Barred Hallway, take a pic of the Tattooed Priestess as she

walks down the hall in the background.

Second Beckoning Yuu - At the beginning of Hour VI as you enter the GardenCorridor from the Garden Hallway, a cutscene will play that shows Yuu walking

to the doors of the Shrine Courtyard. Immediately after the cutscene, equip

your camera (it should autotarget, though it is not guaranteed every time) andmove the camera to the right until the focus turns blue to snap his pic. This

requires excellent timing.

Second Girl Atop Ladder - After the first Girl Atop Ladder ghost appears, get

on the ladder that leads to the Tatami Loft door and immediately get back off.Equip the camera and aim upward to snap her pic. She appears very briefly.


Stalking Yoshino - When you wake from Hour VI, head downstairs and walk inside

the Bathroom. A ghost will pass by in the Hallway, but will only be visible inthe mirror. Use the camera's autotargeting and snap her pic as she walks by.

You will not see the actual ghost while taking a pic of her.

Bloody Mirror Woman - Before starting Hour X, walk downstairs and head to the

bathroom. Raise your camera up to the bloody mirror and take a pic of her.

Receding Priestess - After the cutscene right before the Abyss of the Horizon

(Final Shore) where you watch the ghost of Reika walk slowly toward the doors,

equip your camera immediately after the cutscene to snap her pic.
