The Cambridge Reading Bowl Team won first place in the Fulton County competition on Saturday, February 3, at Paul D West Middle School in East Point. It was an exciting finish with a North Fulton tiebreaker round against Johns Creek! Both schools will compete in the North Metro Regional competition on Saturday, February 10 at Clayton State College. Seniors with the highest SAT score for the 2017-2018 school year and are in the top 10% of their class earn this honor. Madelyn selected Mr. David Pomerance as the STAR Teacher for having the most impact on her academic success. 2018-2019 Registration Process and Timeline First round course verification forms for the 2018-2019 school year were distributed to 9th - 11th grade students last week. This is the first of three Course Verification Forms to register for next year’s classes. Students will return completed forms to their second-period teacher on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Cambridge High School desires that all students take AP exams for the AP classes that they have taken. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount on tuition. For the 2018 AP exams, students at Cambridge High School will be registering online. This registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any device with internet access. Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Event The Rotary Club of Milton will be hosting their 4th annual meal packing event with “Rise Against Hunger” on Friday, March 2, 3:30 pm in the CHS Cafeteria. Student and teacher volunteers are needed to pack nearly 22.000 meals. RAH is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide meals to children in developing countries.
