AIMS GENERAL AIM

The objectives of the call are to award grants for organising valorisation actions in order to promote the dissemination and exploitation of results of projects that have been developed in the Leonardo da Vinci programme.

SPECIFIC AIMS

to promote new production systems and environment employment resources in those local spaces of greater dynamism and transformation, such as the urban and rural areas in order to promote the rural and coast tourism.

To prepare the target group and identify microeconomic and business initiatives.

Make the socio-laboral dinamization of disadvantaged groups easier, stressing particularly those sectors linked to endogenous resources and under criteria of sustainable development.

PRIORITIES

Revitalize the traditional economic activities of the identified areas, keeping at the same time the nature in the protected and rural areas.

Development and promotion of new sustainable economic activities linked to the endogenous resources of the territory through the detection of new employment opportunities.

Promote the contact among entrepeneurs of this area, through transnational networks and information and communication technologies.

Offer a training proposal of high quality, adapted to the necessities of the unemployed young people and the demand of the companies of the area. It would be linked to the exploitation of natural resources (ecological agriculture, mycology, chestnut, rural tourism, aquiculture, etc).

The improvement of the employment and quality conditions of the products and services of the territory. Measures to encourage the creation of employment and new companies.

Help the socio-laboral capacity of the young people in these areas, through the development of their competences, and through professional training related to sustainable economic activities and the protection of the endogenous nature resources.

February 2006 Preparation for the event: Accomplishment of the final list of the

participants (diffusion of the event: posters, mass media etc.) Shipment of documents from the part of the partners: translating them

to Spanish in order to give them to the participants.March 2006 Celebration of the Conference Carrying out the evaluation of the Conference Shipment of the summary of the conclusions from the part of the

partners for the elaboration of Guía de Buenas Prácticas ( Guide of Good Practice )
