The Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council (SIMPCO) Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is in the process of devel-oping the Draft FY 2020 Transportation Planning Work Program (TPWP) with approval scheduled for April 25, 2019. The TPWP describes the transportation planning activi-ties staff will undertake dur-ing the next fiscal year. Each major activity is described in detail to include the task objective, previous work, proj-ect description, future prod-ucts, and budget information on each activity. The Draft FY 2020 TPWP is now avail-able for public comment. The

In addition, copies of the Draft FY 2020 TPWP will be available for viewing at the following city halls and coun-ty courthouses: Sioux City, Sergeant Bluff, Dakota City, South Sioux City, and North Sioux City and the Dakota Dunes Welcome Center, Woodbury County, Plymouth County, Union County, and Dakota County.

The Policy Board Meeting will be held on April 25, 2019 at 1:30 pm at SIMPCO, 1122 Pierce Street, Sioux City, The MPO Policy Board meetings are open to all individuals. Any person with a special need requiring a reasonable accom-modation to participate in a Policy Board meeting should contact SIMPCO office at 712-279-6286 at least two (2) busi-ness days prior to the Policy Board meeting.
