The California Welcome Center (CWC) in Yucca Valley, CA, is one of 16 California Welcome Centers located throughout the state,

established by Visit California, the state's tourism agency. The Yucca Valley visitor center is operated by Desert Regional Tourism Agency (DRTA), a local non-profit organization, managed by Executive Director Kathie Ammar and a host of dedicated volunteers and staff. The California Welcome Center offers maps and brochures for lodging, dining, local attractions, state and national parks, and things to see and do in the region. The center's gift shop features more than 40 local artists with one-of-a-kind items and souvenirs. Open daily: Monday–Saturday 9–4, and Sunday 10–4 (closed Sundays in July-August).

Due to the Covid-19 situation and stay-at-home orders from the state and the county, the event had to be postponed.We must respect the guidelines for the health and safety of all concerned, including our artists, vendors, volunteers and staff, and the visiting public.
