Workshops ● Calico Station will be hosting GUDRUN ERLA of GE Designs in a 2-day workshop. Friday, February 2nd from 1pm-4pm, and then Saturday, February 3rd from 9am-4pm $99

Gudrun is an International quilter, designer and creator for Creative Grid Rulers and Stripology Ruler. She is a quilt and fabric designer and author of several books. She is currently creating a new pattern for us to use. More information and supply list coming soon. This is a wonderful and exciting chance to meet and learn from one of our industries best.

● The Broken Herringbone $60 January 15th, 22nd and 23rd from 10am-4pm each day. In this 3-day workshop we will complete the Herringbone Quilt top. Then Vickie will teach you

the steps to layer your quilt. On the final day we will start quilting your quilt. You may want to use your walking foot like was done on the sample quilt or you may choose free motion.

Anytime classes aren’t in session come sit ‘n sew! Just call first for available times. We love to see you working in our studio! It’s big, bright and beautiful! Come join us to sew with friends. Join Sandi twice a month for an evening Sit 'n Sew. Bring a project to start, or one to finish and enjoy an evening sewing with friends. ● Sew ‘n Supper $10 each month Friday, January 12th from 4 pm-10pm, It’s Italian Night Friday, February 9th from 4 pm-10pm, It’s Soup and Salad Night

“BERNINA” Machine Mastery Classes ● Calico Station has put a new twist on Machine Mastery Classes. You will still receive mastery classes for your new machine or when you upgrade your 880 or 790 to “plus”. Call the shop to schedule a 90-minute mastery class at a time that is convenient to you. Classes

All brands of machines are welcome in our classes. ● Prairie Claw, a Square in a Square Block. $20 Thursday, January 25th from 10am-1pm In this class, we will make one (1) Prairie Claw block. It consists of several units and when combined together creates an intriguing block. This block is easy to create but looks complicated. Come join us for the fun in making this exciting block. Instructor: Marjorie ● Geese Throwing Snowball This is a 2-part class for $30 Monday, January 29th & February 5th from 10am-3pm

For an intermediate quilter. Learn to make flying geese and snowballs using 7 different fabrics of lights, medium and darks. Finished quilt (58 x 70) large lap. Instructor: Dawn ● Window Pane This is a 2-part class for $35 Tuesday, January 30th & February 6th 5:30pm-8pm

BOM ● Imagine – Art to Heart $5 every month January 31st block #5 and February 28th block #6 from 3pm-7pm Come sit and sew with Vickie as each block is created by you. Make a large quilt or celebrate each thought, monthly with the individual mini quilts or pillows. You can also celebrate with these quick and easy holiday and seasonal banners. A one-time fee for book with patterns for $19.00 Each month a new kit will be available for $15.99 ● accuquilt Go! $20 each month Thursday, February 8th from 10am-1pm

Everyone loves owls, from kids to adults! Add this cute critter to your project with the GO! Owl die. The Owl makes a 6 ½” square. Eyes, wings, beak and body all included! Play with their placement to give each of your owls a different personality! Instructor: Mary

Clubs ● Embroidery Club $20 each month

We will start after “SEW What’s New” Saturday, January 13th until 4pm & Sunday the 14th noon-4pm Saturday, February 10th from 10am-4pm & Sunday the 11th from noon-4pm

Bring unfinished embroidery projects work on, or learn a new lesson or project. Each month focuses on an embroidery technique. Join the club and be certain you are getting everything you want out of your embroidery machine. This club is open to all brand machines. Please bring your manuals in case of a problem. Instructor: Kathie ● Fab Club $75 for 6 months Membership, January - June (see website for dates) Saturday from 9am-10am

Each month we include several exciting new Fabric lines to explore. Membership includes fabric samples from new fabric lines. Meet with other people who LOVE FABRICS as much as you do and see what’s new and exciting in the marketplace.
