ISM3D S.L. is a measurement and calibration laboratory, accredi- ited by ENAC, the Spanish accre- ditation body, which is signatory of the European Mutual Recognition Agreement. ISM3D has a wide scope of accredited measurement ser- vices, most with a very low measurement uncertainty. All calibrations are performed with high accuracy coordinate mea- suring machines (CMMs), two of them tacile CMMs and one optical (video CMM). The traceability goes to National Standards principally via ball beams. There are three groups of accre- dited services: 1. calibration of artefacts 2. verification of CMMs 3. calibration of master parts. The calibration of artefacts com- prises tactile and optical artefacts. ISM3D's speciality are optical ar- tefacts and very large artefacts: - step gages and gage blocks - ball beams 1D - optical target scales 1D - ball plates 2D - optical raster plates 2D - ball artefacts 3D (3D ball beams, tetrahedrons, cubes) Best uncertainties for 1D artefact calibrations are: 0.2 µm + 0.5 µm *L/m Largest tactile 1D artefacts are 5 m Largest optical 1D artefacts are 1 m
