The ALS Associa on Michigan ChapterAmyotrophic La ter al
Sclerosis is a f a tal neurodegenerative disease af flicting a t
least two in ever y 100,000 people. Over 30,000 Americans have ALS.
The average case causes death within 2-5 years after dia gnosis.
Ther e is no known cause or cure. Bruce Edwards, Tom Watsons caddy
of thir ty years, lost his fight against this disease in 2004. Tour
players and caddys are helping in this benefit by dona ting items
for our auction, with some par ticipating in the days event. Each
foursome will play with a designated Celebrity or Area Young Star.
ALS is not only Lou Gehrigs disease it was Bruce Edwards disease
and tha t of thousands of Americans annually. Your par ticipation
in the ALS Associations Michigan Chapter CaddyAm will help to
provide funding of critical car e ser vices and progr ams for
almost 700 f amilies her e in Michigan, suppor t our
Multi-disciplinary ALS Clinics in Michigan as well as suppor t
global research to find a cure. Thank you for your suppor t!
