In my first project with AIG/Lincoln I responsible for design management, tendering and procurement, construction management, fit-out management and commissioning of M&E systems on city centre class A office development in downtown Budapest, Hungary. Including fit out works for HVB bank, Unicredit Bank, BOLS, Euronet, Angolan and Korean Embassy’s, British Telecom. The building comprises three interlinked office towers with associated retail and three levels of underground car parking. Design allows for data centre / trading floor / banking type tenants with associated resilient infrastructure including multiple standby generator installations. A regional data centre was completed as a turnkey package as part of the Category B fit-out for Euronet. Total NLA ~ 50,000 sq.m. Awards: Best Building in Budapest, Hungarian Chamber of Architects 2003.

The Park in Prague is Central Europe’s leading urban business technology park, as part of my role on the project I was responsible for design and commissioning management of MEP systems on this large scale mixed use speculative campus development. There are 10 buildings on the development incorporating Office, Data Centre and Retail components. My role also included review of Cat B fit out works for IBM, SONY, Accenture, Oracle, Dell, Honeywell, 3M. As part of the developers Category B fit out works a regional Data Centre was delivered for DHL. Total GFA ~ 200,000 sq.m. Awards: Outstanding development 2003, Central and Eastern European Real Estate Quality Awards.

Director responsible for design management, tendering and procurement, construction management and fit out co-ordination for M&E engineering systems for Class A Office Development in CBD Warsaw, Poland. Including Cat B fit out works for ARUP, EC Harris, Jones Lang La Salle, Nykredit, Avatis. The building comprises one office tower with restaurants, conference centre, data rooms and two levels of underground car parking. Total GFA ~ 20,000 sq.m. Awards: Best Office Development, CEE Construction and Investment Journal 2003

Including fit out works for PWC, Deloitte, Microsoft, McKinsey & Co, Norton Rose, JP Morgan, BNP Paribas, Swedbank, HSBS Bank, Barclays Bank, Starbucks. The building comprises three office towers with associated retail and three levels of underground car parking. Design allows for data centre / trading floor / banking type tenants with associated resilient infrastructure including multiple standby generator installations. Total NLA ~ 75,000 sq.m. Director responsible for design management of M&E systems on city centre class A office development in central Warsaw Grzybowska Park was the fifth office building developed in Warsaw by AIG/Lincoln, and contains over 10,400 sq m of rentable area. The office headquarters is located in the central business district of the city, near Grzybowska Park. The superior standard landmark Class A office development includes tenants such as BZ WBK Bank Zachodni, Accreo Taxand, Lotos and EQT.Total

Director responsible for the design management, tendering and procurement, construction management and commissioning management of the fit-out works associated with a new 2,000 sq.m regional office located in Moscow, Russia. The project comprised taking the space from a shell and core state to a fully functioning office and trading environment. The base building systems were modified, upgraded and supplemented to provide for fully resilient M&E systems including limited time prime rated generators, UPS and cooling plant to support office and full trading environment with main computer room. This was a fast track construction management type project with design and construction being completed in an 8 month period. The project was completed on time and on budget.

Director responsible for the design management, tendering and procurement, construction management and commissioning management of the fit-out works associated with a new 1,500 sq.m regional office located in Dubai, UAE. The project comprised taking the space from a Category A state of fit-out to a fully functioning office and sales environment. The base building systems were modified, upgraded and supplemented to provide for fully resilient M&E systems including standby rated generators, UPS and cooling plant to support office and sales environment with a main computer room. This was a fast track construction management type project with design and construction being completed in a 10 month period. The project was completed on time and on budget.

Mixed-Use – Mega Tall 638m : 111 Storey Tower
With a combined site area measuring 50,674.0 square meters, and an allowable development area of 391,435 square meters, the 111-story development will include: An Observatory, A 300-key, 6-Star Luxury Bellagio Hotel, International Class A Office Space, A Conference Centre and Banquet Facilities, and A Luxury Retail Mall. Signature Tower Jakarta is organized by situating the Observatory and Hotel spaces on the highest floors, supported by the office floors and resting on the conference and retail podium levels. This organization and structural arrangement has been successfully tested and repeated in some of the worlds tallest and notable super-high rise towers, such as the ICC Tower in Hong Kong and the Shanghai World Financial Centre. In my role as Project Director I was responsible for the design and management of the MEP services on the project, leading Beca’s design team in Auckland. The project is currently under construction and will be the fifth tallest building in the world when complete in 2020.

The new Fonterra HQ is one of Auckland's most significant office developments. The 18,000sq.m seven level property designed by Jasmax will feature large flexible floor plates and incorporate environmentally sustainable materials and energy efficient building systems that support new, technology driven, workplace Practices. My role on this project was Clients Engineer.
Place Vendôme is an upcoming QR5 billion mixed-use development underway in Qatar’s emerging Lusail City. The project broke ground on March 17th, 2014 and is slated for opening in the third quarter of 2017. The 800,000m² development will host two five-star luxury hotels, serviced apartments, a mall featuring up to 400 different retail outlets with an exclusively luxurious wing dedicated to top designer labels, and a central Entertainment component showcasing constant attractions.

Building Envelope Design: Mech + Elect Reality
Director responsible for the multi-disciplinary design management of new build five level, 20,000sq.m colocation data centre for Telecom Indonesia in Singapore. Project will be certified for UTI tier III and IV in the same building making this the first of its kind dual certified facility in the world. Also will be certified as BCA Gold + for DC and Platinum for office space, and fully compliant with the MAS financial TVRA threat requirements.

The new Site 10 office development is one of Wellingtons most significant office developments in recent years. The 12,000sq.m five level property designed by Athfield Architects will feature large flexible floor plates and highly efficient MEP systems. The building will be design to achieve a 5 star Greenstar energy rating and is tenanted by PWC, COOP Bank and FMG. My role on this project was to lead the MEP design management.
