The exercise is for students to be able to write and receive postcards from their friends and families domestically or internationally. They will learn how to write on a postcard with simple grammar, the fundamentals of writing, reading and speaking, how to address a postcard and brainstorm ideas to write about. The students will learn about geography from various countries and places. They can make their own postcard on a computer with a template or can use a ready-made postcard. The students can collect the stamps, postcards and chart where all the postcards come from on a classroom map. It’s a fun activity that you and the students will love!

LESSON OBJECTIVES:

1. Develop letter writing skills and learn to address correspondence.

2. Brainstorm words and questions to use.3. Focus on appropriate content of expression in writing.4. Develop ideas and categorize them in a paragraph.5. Students learn language arts, literary skills, geography,

reading, comprehension, and social studies.

*Reading Skills: To improve their reading skills by reading aloud and to themselves learning about new places.
