Sayers, Director The Kirk Singers will present their 43 rd annual Broadway Music Production in two dinner shows (Friday, March 4 and Saturday, March 5), and two theater-style performances (Thursday evening, March 3 and Sunday afternoon, March 6). Tickets need to be purchased for each show, available after February 1. Sunday, March 20 • 7:30 pm Palm Sunday Concert Robin L. McEachern, Conductor Cathedral Choir, soloists, and orchestra will present a Palm Sunday Concert. Sunday, May 1 • 11:00 am (during the traditional morning worship service) Annual Children’s Choir Musical Gretchen Fasulo, Conductor Our Children’s Choirs will present their Spring concert, featuring music about our faith and scripture. There is always a lesson remembered for years to come both by our children and the congregation! Sunday, June 5 • 7:30 pm Kirk Singer Farewell Concert Michael R. Sayers, Conductor We conclude the season with our Kirk Singers (grades 9-12) in their farewell concert prior to their 53 rd Annual Summer Choir Tour! Sunday, October 4 • 7:30 pm An Array of Instruments Our opening concert of the season features individual professional musicians and their instruments. Artists will be: Adam Bookspan, trumpet; Charlene Conner, harp; Susan Dodd, piano; Mei Mei Luo, violin; Gary Mayone, percussionist; Robin L. McEachern, organ; and Michael R. Sayers, organ. Sunday, November 8 • 4:00 pm The West Point Glee Club From West Point Academy in New York State This outstanding choir will also present a totally separate concert of music as a part of the Concert Series of The Symphony of the Americas while they are here. If you are willing to host two of these young cadets for Saturday and Sunday Evenings, November 7 & 8, please let the Music Office know. For over 100 years, this chorus of cadets has represented West Point Academy and the U.S. Army through music. Sunday, December 20 • 4:00 pm Annual Christmas Concert This year we will feature our own concert pianists, Jimmy and Kitty Woodle, in a special composition dedicated to them by composer Joseph M. Martin, who will also be our guest artist and conductor. The Cathedral Choir will sing the second portion of the program. Members of the Symphony of the Americas will be our guest orchestra. Sunday, February 14 • 4:00 pm Gold Coast Jazz Society Featuring a Valentine’s Day program entitled “Love Songs and Jazz Ballads”. The ensemble consists of two vocalists, piano, guitar, drums, sax, and bass. Come for a 4 pm concert and take your Valentine out to dinner afterwards!
