Create an Abstract Drawing
YOU WILL NEED:
● piece of paper● pencil & eraser● Sharpie marker● tub of markers/crayons● clean, hard drawing surface
1. On the back of your paper,
write your name, 5-___ & your adjective.
2. In the middle of your paper,
draw a shape you think of when you think of your adjective (draw it fairly large!).
3. Around the shape, draw lines you
think of when you think of your adjective. Draw these lines to the edges of the paper & cross each other in some way.
4. Inside the spaces created in between
the lines, draw patterns and textures that relate to your adjective. Try to fill each space with designs.
5. Trace your pencil lines with Sharpie marker.
6.Choose colors that relate to your
adjective. Use these colors to shade the textures and patterns.
