James Armistead He was a slave in Virginia He worked for General Lafayette General Lafayette Dispatched Armistead to
Benedict Arnold(traitor) Armistead obtained information about the
British and obtained the plans, troop movements and sent it to General Lafayette.

Jordan Freeman
Freeman was a slave Col. Ledyard, but was freed by him.
He stayed in the area and was married. Even though he was a slave when the
British attacked he chose to stay and fight for America.

Pater Salem
He was a member of the Famous Massachusetts Minutemen.
He fought in Many battles including some like the battle of Bunker Hill, Concord, and ect.
He became a member of the 5th Massachusetts Regiment that fought in the whole Revolution.
He was a slave when he entered the war, but when it finished he was a freeman.
He got married in the year 1783, and died in 1882.
His monument is in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Lambert Latham
He was a patriot .
He fought at the Battle of Groton in 1781.
His slave owner / commanding officer was killed after surrendering to the British Army.

When his commander was killed Latham decided to avenge his commander’s death .
When he retaliated on the British officer he stab the officer with a bayonet.
The way Latham died was by receiving 32 bayonet wounds .

Lambert Latham was honored with the rest of the revolutionary soldiers on a revolutionary monument showing that he defended his country.
