1HabitatThe Fairy penguin (also known as Little Blue), needs its surroundings to be very cold.

Fairy penguins live in the southern hemisphere.

They live on rocky Antarctic islands South of Australia, coastlines of New Zealand and in Tasmania.

AppearanceWhen they are babies they look like little fuzz balls.

Full grown they are between fourteen and twenty inches tall and weigh between 2.2 pounds to 6.6 pounds.

Fairy penguins have short blue feathers and it is the smallest of all the penguins.

DietThe fairy penguins eat krill. They also eat small fishTheir predators are leopard seals, killer whales and sharks.
