New England: Maine, New Hampshire,
Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island Middle: New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey,
Delaware Southern: Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina,
South Carolina, Georgia
3 Regions of the 13 Colonies
New England: fishing, shipbuilding, whaling,
logging Middle: crops; oats and grains, logging,
shipbuilding, textiles production, and papermaking.
Southern: rice, indigo, tobacco, sugarcane and cotton

For music the main instruments were fifes, snare
drums and bass drums. These instruments were played during battles.
Slate boards and horn books were used for the small one roomed school houses around town.
