SECOND TRIUMVIRATE A legal arrangement composed of Octavian, Marc Antony, and

Lepidus. This arrangement marked the end of the Roman Republic due to the Lex Titia.

The territories distributed were: Marc Antony- Gaul, Lepidus- Spain and Narbonesis, and Octavian- Africa, Sardinia, and Sicily.

However the Second Triumvirate was somewhat different, the three members still ended up fighting against each other and only one came out as the winner: Caesar and Octavian.

Known as the fall of the Roman Republic, because the Triumvirate was more powerful than the Senate; they had power over the military and economic decisions in Rome.

The trio used proscriptions to gain money and land for their troops and also to destroy their enemies.
