William’s and Skoric’s Research
No strong link to Video games and Violence
After making people play 56 hours in a month on an MMRPG(massive multiplayer role playing game) found that violent video games have no real world aggression.
They didn’t just use teenagers they used people from the age of 13-67
They even asked people about their personal life making sure that the video game would be the only thing that would effect their aggression.
Research by Pallson and Dr Pope
A NASA scientist found out that video games can help students in school that have the condition of ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).
Kids with ADD create slow brain waves(theta) mainly
Kids with ADD were creating faster brain waves (beta) when playing video games.
As more and more research comes in, it seems that the past argument of video games causing violence is false.
Video games are a fun environment for people to play in, whether it’s with friends online or at home alone.
