Staffed by a committed and enthusiastic team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians drawn from hospital and community pharmacies as well as the pharmaceutical industry, Buttercups is able to provide a fl exible approach to training your staff. Our password protected website gives on-line support and we provide a helpline for candidates, whatever the course, which is available throughout the working day, each evening and at weekends. Extra support is available for those staff who have particular diffi culties with coursework and in addition to individual written feedback, our teaching team can provide tutorials by telephone, additional notes and sometimes one to one visits.

We know that many pharmacists like to give support to candidates and in order to encourage this we don’t require them to mark assignments. We take care of the paperwork to give them more time to devote to training and managing their staff and taking care of their patients.

Companies and hospitals with a number of candidates can also access progress reports through our Pharmacy e-learning Training Service (PeTS), which allow managers to evaluate candidates’ progress and give praise or encouragement. Learners can access their own results and may complete assessments on-line for most courses. Once staff are qualifi ed Buttercups continues to support their development by providing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) modules, which are suitable for pharmacy technicians, dispensing assistants and medicine counter assistants through membership of its Academy.
