Safe Sitter

With Kim Polich and Shantel Broadhead

The Safe Sitter class is designed for kids ages 11-14 (Completed 5th

grade) wanting to learn the basics of child care health and safety as well

as business and professionalism.

Cost: $50 per participant (Must bring a sack lunch)

Class will take place at the Butte 4-C’s Office

One Bite at a Time With Shantel Broadhead

Whole grains? Cereal sugar limits? NO MORE GRANOLA BARS?! DO NOT PANIC!

This training will cover these and the other major changes coming to the meal

patterns. This training is MANDATORY for any provider on the CACFP, and, these

trainings will be available to ALL PROVIDERS and staff to attend. Come learn

about why these changes are being implemented and why it’s important for kids to

have well balanced healthy meals while in care.

Cost for Butte 4-C’s CACFP participants : Free for provider and 1 helper (additional

helper is $17.50)

Cost for non CACFP Participants: $17.50.

Pre-requisites: Intro to the Pyramid

Model and Pyramid Model Module 1

This is a train coach train model.

Participants will attend 3 hours of

training, have coaching, and then

complete the last 3 hours of training.

Participants must complete both of the 3

hour classes to receive credit.

Registration Deadline is Friday, August
