This month the focus for this portfolio is on consumer engagement on sustainability, which is a vitally
important part of a sustainable future. As a key component of this focus, 2degrees are proud to work in
partnership with IBM’s Smarter Planet initiative to bring about the IBM Summit 2011 , which will address the
issue of catalyzing behavioral change in UK consumers. We will run a range of activities on the platform to
get to grips with consumer engagement in addition to the follow-up and ongoing discussion from the
Summit itself, including a look on what the sustainable consumer will want 2020, how the idea of
gamification can help, and how to translate your sustainability goals and projects to consumers in an
effective manner.
