Leadership Southwest is excited to present a new avenue for involvement and leadership growth for the

communities of Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lancaster and surrounding cities through a new and im-

proved leadership program, Leadership Southwest!

Leadership plays a significant role in

defining the culture of the South-

west Region, and this year we have

partnered with professor, Dr. Larry

Terry with UNT Dallas to come to-

gether to make opportunities for

those individuals seeking to grow as

leaders and serve their communities

and position themselves in the ar-

ea’s to make change. The secondary

goal of this 9 month Leadership Pro-

gram is to build awareness about or

local communities and encourage

the willingness to serve the public

area. That said, the idea is that each

participant will “give back” with a

community project that will impact

our community non-profits.

Since this is a revamped endeavor,

we are asking for the support of our

local businesses and municipalities

in the form of submitting a candi-

date who will benefit internally but

also their respective employer and

community.

Will you partner with us to continue

to grow and develop leaders in the

Southwest Region?

Working together to grow our up-

coming leaders and encouraging

them to serve is just another way we

can make our communities great!

Have questions? Please feel free to contact Michelle at [email protected] for more information.

Thank you for your time, and we hope to hear from you very soon!

Sincerely,

Reese Collins, 2015-16 LSW Chair
