This course’s final exam: a presentation using Prezi
Prezi informationand Examples
www.prezi.comFree accounts for public make all prezis public – i.e. everybody can see all your prezisUse free account for students – need to apply and give USTC email address– gives you option to keep your prezi private
The Prezi Idea
Your presentation is one large canvas– Think of it as a picture/diagram of your talk
As you go through the presentation, you zoom in on different parts of the canvas
Parts (“frames”) can be rotated for interestPrezi animates the traveling from one frame to the next.
What is a Resumé?Personal document used when applying for a job– For an academic job it is often called a “C.V.”
(Curriculum Vitae)Name, age, contact informationEducationWork experienceInterestsPersonal references
What is a Prezumé?A resumé in the form of a Prezi
A prezumé is NOT a self-introduction of your life story.– No baby photos!
Focus on what an employer would want to know about you.
Prezume Templates
Prezi features that should be in your prezumé
Text (sizes & colors), background, photosRotated frame (not too much)Zoom to frame, then unzoomBullet point list appears one point at a timeInteresting visual theme– originality will be rewarded
And, of course correct spelling, punctuation, wording…
An Example from Last Spring
