Reports Semester 1 reports are in the final stages of completion. We plan to send these home early next term. For any families that would like further details regarding their child’s progress this semester prior to next term, please contact your child’s teacher.

Family Assembly Family Assembly will be on 3rd of July and it will be hosted by Class 2 at school for classes and staff to attend. Unfortunately, we still can’t have families onsite due to COVID-19. We will share a YouTube link on our school Facebook page and on Seesaw for families and community members to view.

Farewell to Rob RentonRecently one of our long term bus driver’s had his last day working with our school. It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Robert Renton who has been transporting our students to school for 7 years. We wish Rob all the best in his retirement.

Community Awareness and Contact information

As with all holiday periods, we ask families

to report any unusual activity they may

see in and around the school

grounds. This can be done to the school

mobile on 0407 582 813 or the School

Security Unit on 1300 880 021.

New Maths Resources The school has recently invested a substantial amount of money and time in establishing a large resource bank for the teaching of Mathematics. Each classroom has new hands-on materials to support all strands of the Maths syllabus. Next term, teachers will undergo additional professional learning around the implementation of a whole-school Maths program.

New Students We are once again delighted to welcome three new students to Bullimbal in the coming weeks. Two new Kindergarten students will be joining the junior classrooms and a former student will be returning to our school after moving back into the region. We trust you will join us in making everyone feel welcome and supported as they join the Bullimbal family.

Green and Red ChoicesAt Bullimbal, we use green and red choices with the students when talking about behaviour. Recently they have been updated to allow for consistency across the school. We have attached a copy to the newsletter if you wish to discuss these with your child. Please contact the school if you would like a laminated copy for

home use.
