As of January 1, 2017, Holy Cross Parish has changed Financial Institution to the Conexus Credit Union, West Landing Branch. As such, for all donations, contributions and business transactions made to Holy Cross by cheques, all cheques MUST be payable to “HOLY CROSS PARISH” only. As directed by the Credit Union, any and all cheques not made out correctly will be returned for replacement and or correction. Membership Fees of $25.00 for the year 2017 are now due. CWL Executive Meeting: MONDAY. JANUARY 16, 2017 Holy Cross CWL General Meeting will be held on February7, 2017,Meeting @ 7:00 p.m.. We will be hosting a Shower for Birthright. We will be collecting for our hampers beginning this weekend. Boxes will be provided at both entrances. ALL PARISHONERS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE. SPECIFIC ITEMS NEEDED FOR THE HAMPERS ARE:
Receiving blankets, diapers, clothes mostly newborn, new, and used will be greatly accepted. Thank You. Please plan to attend.

Stewardship: Faith-Raising not Fund Raising
A workshop entitled ‘Stewardship: Faith-Raising not Fund Raising’ will be held at Little Flower Parish on Saturday, February 11th, 2017. This event will focus both on the spiritual and practical benefits of adopting a stewardship way of life practised personally and within your parish community. The presenters will be Ray Dies and Fr. The Archdiocese of Regina is currently accepting applica-tions for a half time (21 hours/week) Support Staff posi-tion. All applicants are required to possess very good Eng-lish skills, both written and verbal. To apply, please send your resume and three references, one of which is your parish priest, to Sharon Bender at [email protected] or Leona Burkhart at [email protected].
Everyone is invited Friday, January 6th and Saturday, January 7th, 2017 for first Friday/first Saturday all-night vigil in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The vigil is held at St. Mary’s Church, 2026 Winnipeg St., Regina and begins with Mass at 7:30 P.M. followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and ending with Mass at 7:30 A.M. on Saturday, morning. Come join us in this Year of Mercy!
