Parker Dragon Breathchlorobutylsteam hoses provide maximumservice in one of the mostdemanding industrial hoseapplications. Te cold-hot cyclingof steam systems and exposure to

abrasion, ozone and weatheringchallenge any steam hose. Yet thedurable chlorobutyl tube, syntheticrubber cover and robust constructionovercome degradation fromextreme temperatures and harshenvironments.

Steam applications frequentlyrequire many separate hose linesthat may be diffi cult to differentiate,since most hoses are either blackor red. Dragon Breath II hoses offer

a quick and easy way to identifyhose lines. Series 7285 features ablack/red spiral barber pole coverfor instant recognition. Series 7287features a solid bright yellow stripe,easily distinguishing itself from

other lines in the environment.

Dragon Breath was a pioneerin steam hose crimp couplingtechnology, and that traditioncontinues with Dragon Breath II.Series 7285 and Series 7287 hosesare validated with Parker Series 73crimp couplings that are appliedover-the-cover no skiving isrequired. Crimp couplings areextremely economical whencompared to the assembly

fabrication and in-servicemaintenance time of reattachablettings applied with clamps.While reattachable couplings aretraditional and may be used withDragon Breath II, steam hose

assemblies fabricated with crimpcouplings are less costly andmore effi cient in the long run.
